He bought 2 based on her description, we opened it & it is Terrible. Very Vinegary. Plus it was $5 more than the Russo Dolce! I called to see if we could bring the 2nd, unopened bottle & exchange it & she said No. That it was against the law to return any liquor in Arizona--yet Total Wine has a on it's website that hassell free returns!! Last time I'll ever buy from Yuma Beverage House, No customer service just make a sale.

As I personally enjoy good wine and of course a bit of cheese, so it didn't take much convincing for me stroll into Old Town Wine Cellars Kim made the experience fantastic and we shared our stories about Santa Rosa, Napa and Paso Robles and before I knew it. We were swapping stories about our wine journeys, life and the places we've been. It's always nice meeting someone who shares the same appreciation for good wine and doesn't judge you for having strong opinions about grapes aging in stainless steel. I also really enjoyed hearing about the history of the building and how the space evolved into what it is today. As I have a design background so naturally I'm looking at the wine AND the entire space. Which apparently I can't turn that part of my brain off as I'm always searching for a creative outlet. Overall, the whole afternoon was just easy. Good wine, great conversation, a comfortable atmosphere and nowhere in between I did feel needed to rush off. I'm still finding my place in Yuma and figuring out the spots that feel like me. Old Town Wine Cellar made Yuma feel a little more like home that afternoon. I'll definitely be back. For the wine, the conversation... and let's be real, probably the cheese too.

Not sure why, I use to be greeted warmly but now I feel the owner seems putoff by my precense. I use to be greeted with a "Hey Buddy!"not anymore. At first I thought it was probably just me over thinking but when other regulars come in they're met with a warm.greeting and repertoire that has build overtime. I had friends of mine take note as well. Friends who accompany me time to time notice a clear difference in treatment as soon as we approach the counter. Also compared to the other customers Ill be buying much more. Yet it seems the treatment is very cold. A not so friendly vibe. Yet I go there because of the location is nearby. I still buy quite alot time to time I made some attempts to make casual talk or simply just greet!. Ill say how are you!? And replies with a monotone dry ok. I will just say Im clearly being discriminated! In the past I was treated like everyone else but now something changed and I think I know. Why. Besides, a pic wouldn't do justice to the rich layers of piping hot, tender pasta sheets, slathered in hearty meat sauce and creamy béchamel and ricotta. If this is Italian comfort food, I'm all in with the way Mario's crew put this master piece on a plate. This also goes for the caprese, Cacio e pepe, margherita romana, along with the deserts like the tiramisu' de treviso, cherry cannoli siciliani, and even the bread basket is over the top.
