He took the time to ask what I enjoy, shared his knowledge of different brands, wrappers, and blends, and introduced me to several underrated cigars I probably would have overlooked. You can tell he genuinely loves cigars and enjoys helping others discover something new. So, just ask him to recommend a stick if you're feeling like trying something new or not sure what would hit the spot. With his recommendations, I ended up taking home a few My Father, Oliva Serie V Melanio, and Arturo Fuente cigars. It wasn't a sales pitch--it was just a great conversation between cigar enthusiasts. Unfortunately, I was traveling through and couldn't stay to enjoy a cigar in the lounge, but that's definitely on my list next time. It was just me this visit, but the next time I'm in the area I'll be calling a few friends to meet me here so we can relax, enjoy a few great cigars, and spend some quality time together. If you're anywhere near Yuma and appreciate premium cigars and knowledgeable service, Sun of a Gun Cigars is absolutely worth the stop. The interior is inviting and the chairs are very comfortable. I use to feel welcome all the time and spend nearly 50 to 100 dollars every so often on things I needed. Overtime it became a depressingly unwelcoming experience. Not sure why, I use to be greeted warmly but now I feel the owner seems putoff by my precense. I use to be greeted with a "Hey Buddy!"not anymore. At first I thought it was probably just me over thinking but when other regulars come in they're met with a warm.greeting and repertoire that has build overtime. I had friends of mine take note as well. Friends who accompany me time to time notice a clear difference in treatment as soon as we approach the counter. Also compared to the other customers Ill be buying much more. Yet it seems the treatment is very cold. A not so friendly vibe. Yet I go there because of the location is nearby. I still buy quite alot time to time I made some attempts to make casual talk or simply just greet!. Ill say how are you!? And replies with a monotone dry ok. I will just say Im clearly being discriminated! In the past I was treated like everyone else but now something changed and I think I know. Why. All I could say is if your running a business you should not discriminate your customers on age,sex, race,or sexuality or religious beliefs. Especially when they have purchased so much.

I stopped into Old Town Wine Cellar recently when I was downtown for the First Friday event. I…read morereally enjoyed this little wine shop! I didn't realize it was also a wine bar, but you can order a glass (or even a small half glass!) and also shop for bottles of wine. The owner was really nice and also quite helpful in recommending wines to me based on my preferences. I wanted to branch out and try something new, and I walked away with two bottles. So far I've uncorked one of them and have really enjoyed it. One was a Spanish wine Rioja and the other was an Italian wine, Nebbiolo. The shop itself is nestled in the heart of historic downtown Yuma (dreamy as is!) but to top it off, the entire ambiance inside of the shop FEELS like you're in the wine cellar of a beautiful vineyard. It's such a neat place here in Yuma and I'm so glad I stumbled upon it! I can't wait to return to try some new wines and even sit to have a glass there to enjoy the beautiful setting.
