Thank you Justin for going the extra mile. I needed a vaccine card that I obtained at this pharmacy in 2014. Not only did they still have proof of vaccine on record, but they sent me a new card for proof. No retail pharmacy would of done that. Support Local. Great team, thank you. read more

I've used Valumed for the last 16 years. They've always been helpful and gone the extra mile for me and my family. I will gladly continue driving the 25 minute each way drive just to fill my prescriptions here. They seem to remember me each time I walk in or call. The staff at Valu-Med are wonderful. They go above and beyond for their customers. They offer flu shots and other vaccinations, including vaccines needed for travel to other countries. It is very convenient to be able to get prescriptions and vaccines in one place. The staff is always helpful and know many of their customers by name. I would highly recommend this pharmacy! read more

We specialize in immunizations, diabetes management, medication adherence and vitamins/supplements/nutriceuticals.

History

Established in 1985.

Valu-Med is a family owned pharmacy operating in Midwest City for over twenty years. We pride ourselves in patient care and are dedicated to meeting all of your pharmacy needs.

Meet the Business Owner: Justin W.

Dr. Justin Wilson is a second generation pharmacist who was born and raised in Midwest City, OK. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy he completed a community practice residency thru the University of Iowa. This has allowed the pharmacy to expand services into the areas of diabetes education, travel immunizations, medication therapy management and several other patient care services. Currently, Justin is part-time faculty at the OU College of Pharmacy, is a member of the State Board of Pharmacy, is past president of the Oklahoma Pharmacists Association, and is one of the Vice Presidents of the National Community Pharmacists Association.
