Usually, when I come through Alabama. I usually just have a great meal and then I leave. However, this time was different. The food was incredibly tasty at all locations we went to and the facilities were top tier at the holiday inn...specially the GYM. I did not use this pool at this trip since I was busy with homework. But, I will next time. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile to try to emphasize how incredibly well equipped the rooms were. I am a Hilton rewards elite traveler but, I am glad my boyfriend's mom took us here so that I can sign up for holiday Inn rewards. It'd be useful for my NY trips to see my family. I asked for my money back so I could leave and go to another hotel. She said she didn't have the authority to do it. So I'm stuck. I will never ever ever ever recommend anyone ever staying at this hotel. Not here. Not ever. It is a place where they don't clean properly, nothing works, and the people are very rude. The customer service stinks at best. I was going to keep Teri our of the negative part, but when I was at my breaking point she said to me "calling and complaining to her was not going to make the situation better. " maybe this review will help. Not to mention the lady that was on duty around 9am on 04/13/19 with the gold teeth assured me she would make sure my room was ready when I got back. The microwave is from another dimension. And mud all over the carpet throughout the lobby and halls. Take some pride in your hotel and maybe not so much pride in saving a dollar or a few cents. Left a voicemail for manager Ken, told what happened AND including my Priceline reservation number so they can confirm. NO ONE has called me back. I called again yesterday and the manager on duty, which was Ken was not there again. The young lady Aisha said, she just gave him my message from Priceline calling them also yesterday. Priceline is refusing to refund me, although the hotel charged me LESSER than Priceline had. The hotel is not calling me back to rectify their mistake. ALL crooks, in my eyes.
