I have just started taking my families three different car to the Southwick, MA Vavoline Express. As a retired military Msgt, I know professionalism when I see and hear it. This Vavoline Express in Southwick is awesome. They are always kind, considerate and professional. All the employees there were great but the only name I remember is Kim the customer service rep at the desk. Very friendly, knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk to. I will be returning next week to get the oil changed on another one of my vehicles. Glad I found this location. read more

Good place to get inspection sticker, I got 2 cars inspected this year, first passed no problem, the second had a bulb out but they fixed it while I waited for $5.00. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I feel compelled to leave a review after going online just to see the hours. I saw the bad reviews and felt the need to say that this place is great! They are good honest people. They are honest and upfront about Any issue they may foresee as being a potential problem. I e been going there for years And never have I had an issue. I had a failed sticker for my sons car a few years back but it was for a legitimate reason. They are helpful honest and let's be honest guys they are busy doing work for customers that are in a hurry and would rather be somewhere else. I trust this business completely. This is not like getting inspection stickers etc from "back in the day" it's all recorded now with new regulations. Give them your business they're great! read more

Went for sticker, I knew I was getting a black sticker for emmisions, had continuous attempts to fix it. Unbeknownst to me my passenger signal bulb was out, the kid said he can change it,I said sure . after he spoke with Donna, he said he won't , and she gave me red sticker, I immediately went got bulb changed,came back for reinspection,Donna said she won't give me a black sticker even tho I fixed it. Until the emmisions was fixed, gave me a hard time ,Now I have red sticker with no safety issues, just the troublesome emmisions . not a good or legit inspection station, vehicle is 14 yrs old , I spent many $ trying to fix it , but because the shops aren't the ones that is recommended. Regardless, my sticker should be black not red . rude disrespectful, not legit place to go. Reporting this ,in hopes there will be a end to this inspection,racketeering here!! read more

What a difference a year makes. Brought my same truck here a year later and they gave me a hard time about the parking brake. Just like last year it's adjusted to factory spec. Holds the car nice and tight in "drive" or "reverse." V8 engine takes over around 1200rpm which apparently isn't good enough. I called the state of Massachusetts who confirmed the standard is holding the car in "drive" at idle. Had to spend another $35 to get my inspection somewhere else. Of course, parking brake is totally fine. They're still extremely nice here, but seems like they swindled my $35 fee. Incompetence, not malevolence. But a bad experience just the same. Always do a great job. I like how they double check each other's work. Guy under the car had someone else verify drain plug was torqued proper after putting it in. Noticed the same when they check the dipstick. It's details like this often the failure when things go wrong at quick lube shops. This place is in and out with no issues. read more

There is a worker manager by the name of Chris. He is a hard worker they are honest. They will not charge you for work that does not need to be done to your vehicle. I would encourage anybody that wants to get a good job done to use this shop. read more

So I'm getting my wife's car inspected and it's a 2 hour wait. No big deal, it's the 1st of the month. When it was finally my turn the guy fails me for a headlight being out. Tells me he's got no time to fix it because he's got a line of customers. Automatic Red R, the bad rejection sticker. I can now be towed just for driving it. So I went across the street to the auto parts store and got a new bulb. In 30 seconds I change it myself with no tools in the parking lot and drove it back across the street to valvoline. I was then told by the service desk that I will be put back at the end of the queue. I was annoyed but I really had no other choice but to wait. Just as I sat back down the same creep who failed me tells a young college age girl she's not allowed to have her license plate zip tied to her front bumper. But no worries! he's going to fix it for her. I then spent the next several minutes watching this looser fix this girls jeep before passing her (and no he didn't get her number for being such an awesome guy) Anyways me and the other guys in the waiting room had a good laugh when I said, funny how that sh!t works, that tool had no time to change a bulb but had all day to fix this girls bumper. After 3 hours i finally got my sticker and left. What a joke. read more

Straight forward oil change place. Feel compelled to leave a review after reading Amy's review. Not sure how they could have ransacked her car since the vehicles are worked on right in front of you in full view of the waiting room. From my experience, if anything they don't try to upsell quite enough.. very pleasant for the customer, but the extras have gotta be where they make their money. Four stars because they're good, efficient, and offer a free car wash. read more

I have been a customer of Valvoline Express for at least five years. Their service is excellent. The oil changes are always completed in a timely manner. The repair work is fairly priced and completed quickly. They have a professional, friendly staff. And they are dog friendly! Cooper Approved. Great job! read more

Walked in to get a sticker, after the very rude lady behind the counter acknowledged me, she says "can I help you with something?" In a very rude tone. I then reply "yes I'd like to get a sticker". She replies "well it won't pass" I ask why. She said because I have HID headlamps. The headlamps are DOT approved aftermarket. In the last 10 years I've had them I have never had an issue getting an inspection sticker in Massachusetts. She asked where I was from, I told her the Cape and she said "that's why". Very strange and unprofessional. Went right down the road to another shop, passed without issue. Avoid these dummies. read more

This is really a quick lube! I happened to be in the area and stopped to get an oil change. I usually get my work done in Conn. Well Donna the manager treated me like an old customer! Horrible horrible place! !! Went there and was treated like an easy target because I am a woman, that I'm stupid and they REALLY tried hard to sell me alot of crap I don't need. They were very rude and to add insult to injury, when I got my vehicle back I could immediately tell that they went through& ransacked my center console, dashboard& trunk. They didn't even try to put stuff back like how it was. Hope the change and whatever else they took was worth it, only money they'll ever get from me again!! read more
