This is the kind of place your dad warned you about scamming you. Had my car for a week. Had to hound them to get any update. Awful communication. They charged me $1,300. 20 mins after I pick it up, the same problem starts happening but worse. They take it in for another couple days. Claim they changed the spark plugs. Try to charge me another $300. I refuse seeing as they already charged me a ridiculous amount and it was for nothing. It is only a couple months later now. I am having engine issues again. Bring it somewhere else obviously and they tell me that no spark plugs were ever changed. They are definitely the originals. What the hell was I charged $1300 for?? Also I was out of a car for a week and a half. I have a job and a life. The woman that works the desk says she is the owner. Learn how to communicate with your customers, be honest with how long it is going to be and maybe try not lying about the work that was done. I recently starting going here for oil changes. The last time I went in, they did the oil change but told me when I was paying that I needed new front brakes and rotors. I did not schedule the job with them. I went elsewhere for a second opinion and guess what? I do not need that work done now. My pads and rotors are ok. I feel so disillusioned with this business. Dishonesty is alive and well, unfortunately. I will be going elsewhere from now on. read more

over 5000 dollars spent on service for a ram 1500 2006 took it for a drive after service and completly broke down on the highway after 20 mileds from service miles. They now say i need a new engine because of timing issues . They never took the truck out for a road test after the service and they have had the truck back in their shop now for almost a month and avoid answering any questions and never get back until confronted. Now i have a boat anchor and need to tow it away from the shop. I have been going to Demore"s for years. If there were a way to give more stars I would. They are beyond trust worthy, excellent at diagnostics and do a great job of taking care of the problem. They are incredibly accomodating and excellent at communicating, which I might add, is rare these days. They have a shuttle service and loaners if needed. And, Oh they snacks too. NEED EMERGENCY CAR REPAIR BUT YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT BEING SCREWED OVER BECAUSE YOU'RE IN A BIND? THIS IS THE GARAGE FOR YOU! I have a great mechanic at home and never had to worry about being taken advantage of, until this past Sunday when my 24 yr old daughters van broke down on the highway, in the evening, 2 hours away in MA. By the time I got to her and we decided it had to be towed and fixed nearby, it was around 8-9ish pm. Through past experience with many older cars, and the help of my mechanic at home, we determined it was most likely the alternator. I was so worried that we'd be hit with the 'girl at a garage' effect because we were at their mercy. I found Demore's online and crossed my fingers. Without being able to contact them, I had the van towed there and left the keys and a note in the drop box. They called me in the morning and I explained our situation. Michelle got back to me in just a couple of hours to let me know it was in fact the alternator, and the belt, and it would be ready the next day! And...at a reasonable price!!! I was thrilled! I wasn't able to make it back before closing to pick up, so they sent me a link, I paid online and we got the car a few hours after they closed. Running great and feeling safe. I'm so grateful, I decided to heap some praise on them here to thank them for taking the stress out of this very stressful situation, and hopefully help someone feel better about making this choice if they're between a similar rock and hard place. read more

Excellent service. Fair prices. Quick and reliable. We've been having our family fleet of cars and pickup trucks serviced by Demores Auto since they began. We often had 5 vehicles with our kids. The owners Jay and Michelle are always willing to help. I hope they stay in business as long as we drive cars. With just 2 cars now we often do a back to back routine service. Now servicing a 2003 Lexus and 2014 Toyota Camry. In the past 1999 Cadillac, 2001 Ford F-350, tiburon, expidition, Chrysler's, Dodge Ram, Sebring, Jeep Cherokee's, Ford 500, Chevy conversion van, etc. I'm sure I've forgotten some vehicles but the point is it's been many years and many vehicles. I've brought my car for service to Demore's Automotive a few times over the last year. My car is 12 years old and requires more maintenance than a normal car. Every time I've brought my vehicle in for repair the team at Demore's has been very accommodating and taken my car right away. They are very helpful and informative when explaining to me the issue with my vehicle. I like that they use some more modern technologies in showing me the issues (photos that they are able to show me on a tablet as well as text messaging). The team there is very friendly and has a level of professionalism and expertise that is hard to come by. Not only is Jay Demore a great mechanic, but honest and reasonable... his work is top notch. He can usually take a vehicle same day or within 24 hours and have it done by the end of the day.
