I go back the next morning to let them know and they say "If we let you leave, it was working". So now they're calling me a liar and want an additional $200 for diagnostics that they didn't run when I first brought my car in. No thanks. I'll take my car elsewhere. I'm not trusting you guys if you didn't even offer the diagnostic the day before and tried to brush me off twice in 2 days. Then I was told they could order conventional oil but it would cost $50 more. I asked if I now had to stay with synthetic, another guy said I could go back. I was always under the impression once you switch an older vehicle to synthetic oil and run it through your engine you couldn't go back to conventional. Anyway, Thanks to Tommy's looks like I'm using synthetic now. Won't be going back to Tommy's. Continuing my search for a reputable and reliable place to get my car serviced.

It covered everything my previous warranty covered plus a few more things. I would pay as I go and the deductible would decline every few months. Six months later I'm moving to a new home and every light comes on in my Honda Odyssey, I took it in and the team assessed the issue. I remember the team saying to me, don't worry about it, the warranty is going to cover it. They came back with a huge issue with the motor, and rather than rebuilding the motor, Christian Brothers replaced the motor with a used motor with 65k less miles. In addition they covered a car rental for 3 days. Over the next few days they called to replace a few other things like a water pump so it wouldn't have to be done later and they paid for it. I was overwhelmed by their attention to detail and commitment to excellence. While at times they can longer than other shops, they stand by their work and use only the best parts. I'm now a lifelong Christian Bros customer as they have won my business going forward. I highly recommend to anyone!

On November 17, 2025, I came in because my check engine light kept turning on and off. After being…read moretold that replacing the mass airflow sensor and the oxygen sensor would resolve the issue, I spent an entire day waiting--only to pay a substantial amount of money and get back on Loop 288 with every light on my dashboard lit up. When I returned, they removed the oxygen sensor they had just installed because, apparently, that was what caused my car to malfunction. In other words, they were guessing from the start. Despite that, they had no problem charging me for a part that clearly did not fix my issue. After wasting two full days at this shop with zero resolution, my check-engine light is still on, and now I'm being told the problem is the fuel pump. It is unacceptable that I was charged for unnecessary work while the actual problem remains unaddressed. To make matters worse, when I returned on the 18th to express my frustration, the manager behaved extremely unprofessionally, taking my keys and walking off without a word. I am almost sure he insulted me, based on the staff's reaction. This entire experience was unprofessional, careless, and dismissive. I strongly advise anyone considering this location to take their vehicle anywhere else. I should never have been charged for guesswork.
