We ended up doing a half paver patio, half artificial turf for the back yard which included some retaining wall work. They also installed a gravel path to the back yard with paver stepping stones. The work was done in 5 days and his team was very courteous and friendly (especially to my 4 year old daughter who would wave from the window). As with most projects, issues arose, but Santiago was very transparent with them and provided solutions to get the job done right. L & S did such a good job that the neighborhood is considering them for future work and regular yard maintenance.

It appears they are actively scraping public government or property records to cold-call local residents. Despite making it clear that we are not interested, the invasive disruptions do not stop. This behavior is predatory and incredibly unprofessional.

I'm hard of hearing so I wasn't entirely sure I communicated well with them but they seemed to understand me so we went forward. Their two-person crew arrived spot on time and got right to work. Daniel, the owner, carefully reviewed the work we had asked for. I agreed, and they got right to work. I thought it would take them all day, but much to my pleasant surprise, they were done in half that time. And the work? Perfect. They did everything asked for with professionalism and well-deserved pride. The yard is now presentable (and it hasn't been for a while). We'll definitely be bringing them on for monthly maintenance so it doesn't go out of control again. Cost was very reasonable. The scope of the work we needed was never going to come cheap, and cheap wasn't our goal. We wanted the job done right and we were willing to pay a professional rate to get that level of quality. Angeles Landscape charges a very good rate and, for what you get, I doubt there are better options. I also appreciated that Daniel kept checking in to make sure we were happy, if we wanted anything corrected, or if we had any questions. We schedule between 3 to 5, they said they would call before they left. At 4:30 I called since I hadn't heard from them. With some confusion they assured me they were loading the truck and heading my way. The truck delivered the material at 5:25pm, we live less than 10 minutes away. They only delievered half of what I ordered. On 6/12/12 we went to the office and they said they knew they shorted us and would give us an additional yard but only if they could put it in our truck. We didn't want to use our truck that is why we paid extra for delievery. I am a small business owner and believe in using other small businesses. I would never use them or recommend them to anyone else. In this situation pay more and get what you ordered. I had to call Pacific Topsoil who will be delivering two more yards in order to finish.
