Anytime I've ever brought my dog here, it's always been very smooth and easy. I would definitely recommend!

I feel like they honor our pets beautifully because they know how special they are to us. They even provide you with grief support resources. I will continue to support CAMP because I know they will support me and my babies. I was amazed at the quality of care we received, the urn and the keepsakes for the price that we paid... you'll always have to pay something but they are super affordable without skimping on quality or care. Thank you CAMP!

The staff was friendly and the care the gave my little pup was great. She needed some additional service to biopsy a mass that was on one of her ovaries. They called to get approval and explained what needed to be done. They took such great care of our little Canela. Pick up was fast she was sent home with her meds, they gave praises to our little one. They followed up a couple of days after to see how she was doing and called me later the following week with the biopsy results. All was good! The cost was very reasonable and I will be taking her back for her vaccines.

I'm beyond pissed. Also to the receptionist in the front, don't say "it's only" so and so amount. It only pissed me off more! Hate this scamming establishment. I used Banfield for years. Unfortunately it seemed they never reverted their practices post Covid…read moreand it was nearly impossible to get an appointment where you could be in the room with your pet and speak with the vet. Everything was drop off. The last straw for me was when I booked an in person appointment only for me to show up and them to tell me it was a mistake and I had to drop off. I don't live near by so this was not an option and truly not the point- I needed to talk to the doctor in person about progressively concerning symptoms in an older dog! I decided it was time for another vet. Cancelled my Banfield "membership" that day and asked for email confirmation. That was August 2025. I have the email! Today I realized even though they cancelled the auto renew in August they have continued to charge me monthly since- well past the any reminder on the annual auto renewal. I called customer service and they were zero help. BUYER BEWARE. They will not abide by the contract terms even when you call and tell them verbally you want to cancel the membership. FYI- my dog was diagnosed with a cancer and needed a significant surgery in December so I am glad I made the move to a family oriented vet that would see me face to face instead of taking my money for nothing.

We're so grateful to have such a caring and knowledgeable vet. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately as of this week I am leaving this practice with my dogs. Long story short, I scheduled a follow up ultrasound for one of my dogs and when I paid that deposit and made the appointment I specifically asked that it be noted in her chart that to the extent possible not to shave her. The dog is a champion show dog and already registered for a specialty in europe in a few weeks, with flights already booked and now the thousands already spent is completely wasted. I have had dozens of ultrasounds done in the last 15 years, both echocardiograms to abdominal ultrasounds and this dog in particular just had an ultrasound in late december. This was a follow up ultrasound and the practice shaved her entire underside and half way up her flank. Her coat will not recover from this for months, possibly for the year. I spoke with the practice manager and was basically told the doctor found it necessary, which is fine. The vet very well may have thought it necessary, but since it directly contradicts the owner's request on her chart, I should have been contacted before that happened so that I could decide to cancel her ultrasound and take her to another practice or some other solution. In fact when I dropped her off in the morning for intake, I was specifically asked to leave my phone number in case I had to be contacted regarding the procedure. The hospital had my number, and decided to just proceed how they wanted to. Completely unacceptable.

Our boy had some spinal issues amongst other things as he got older, and Dr. Moeller was always honest when it came to his prognosis and also never pushed unnecessary treatment or medications. I was desperate at one point and asked about an arthritis treatment, and she explained why our pup wouldn't be a good candidate for it which I appreciated because it was a very costly medicine, and in the end she was right. When she did advocate for treatment, I followed her lead and I am glad I did because it helped our guy live his final days somewhat comfortable before we had to say the hardest goodbye. The prices are also extremely fair coming from another clinic in Hermosa beach that was very high compared to this practice. We now have a 6 month old puppy named Penny and we just recently saw Dr. Moeller for her first wellness visit. She was once again wonderful and Penny was so happy to meet her and the staff. We look forward to many healthy years at Pacific Coast Animal Hospital and we plan on bringing our kitty in here for care soon too. Also- the front desk staff, and the vet techs are wonderful, patient and caring. I appreciated how kind and helpful they were with Jax and now our Penny girl. You will not be disappointed with any of the Drs here- they are all wonderful and will provide your pet with the best possible care.
