The local Hefeweizen was also wonderful! Nina's dad served it up to me and was really nice and down to earth giving us a little family history of how Nina and Drew recently turned this place around, a true Cinderella story at its best! Got a slice of their blackerry-apple sour cream and a slice of their raspberry apple cream cheese pie. Of course, I had to wash it all down with some delicious cold apple cider. Both pies were tasty, but that blackberry-apple sour cream pie just stole my heart away. It didn't sound all that appealing from the title, but let me tell you... that sh*t was incredible! The tartness of the blackberry mixed with the sweetness of the apples and the creaminess of the sour cream was just straight up heavenly. I actually went back in to grab another slice because I didn't even make it to the car. The lady was laughing at me, but it was funny. The fact that the pie didn't even last a few minutes let's you know that it was good. It was at that point that I should have just purchased a frozen whole pie, but my tummy was honestly full and I wasn't thinking.
