    · Knowledgeable/Capable The moment we spoke over the phone,…read morehe immediately put me at ease and felt assured that he could help with my case. He had a very good grasp of the process, mechanics of the system and the interdependencies of the case. He took interest and ownership, he was purposeful in his approach, he was well informed and he was an excellent representative of my case in court! It took only a week to resolve my case, a speedy process. · Sense of Urgency/Follow Through Once he was provided with the information and discussed the detail of my case, he went to work. He was able to connect with the relevant departments and navigated the system. He was thorough and complete in the preparation in the entire process of the case. · Excellent Customer Service I live out of state but he was accessible. He had a welcoming demeanor, attentive, responsive to inquiries and has excellent customer service. · Drives for Positive Results It was clear during the entire process that his main goal was to deliver a positive outcome in my favor. He achieved that!!! He was instrumental in reducing my case from 4 to 1 charges. He was strategic in the planning and execution that led to a favorable and fair outcome of my case. Don't call this counselor last, call him FIRST!! Thank You, Atty. Eric Bates!

After takeover a stack to show up in court and not fit for you he will tell you he can't help you and best of luck! Smh Worst ATTORNEY IN ELIZABETHTOWN I would not even give him 1 single star but it made me He cares NOTHING ABOUT HIS CLIENTS after getting your retainer fee! Seems like all he cares about representing is junkies and feins they know will be repeat an offenders they can scam! He is to old to care Least he could do is return your thousand dollars but that would be to much like right he will show up 1 time to screw you over! Then wish you the best smh Karma is doing him in that's why he can hardly walk! I'm sure it will carry over in his after life! God knows how sorry he is and justice in after life shall prevail to people of this nature! I mean that with the most sincerity in me!

Then after you sign that check his tune changes real quick. I totally understand they can not guarante the outcome of any case. And I also understand they cannot predict the future. But what nick did to us was down right DIRTY! Nick told us that our case had a potential to take to trial and possibly beat it. So looking at years we decided to get a loan and hire him. He told us at that time that he had vast experience with these types of cases and would love the opportunity to try to fight it in court. As soon as we gave him the check even his attitude toward us changed. He suddenly seemed annoyed and bothered by us. One time my fiancée called him from the jail and he literally hung up on him! I went to his office and asked him to go to the jail to have my fiancée sign a POA for me! He said no I'm not going there it's a huge hassle! When the time came for our trial. He literally told us "I did some research and these cases are brutal in court I really think you should take the plea" what!!!!!!! You literally told us you had experience with these cases and we had a fighting chance! Now your saying you all the sudden did some more research and we're shit out of Luck?!?!?!?!?!? Basically bottoms line is he is buddy's with the Prosecuting Attorney and over lunch they decide together what kind of plea they want to offer his client. so they are in cahoots together! Not helping his client one bit! karama will bite him in the rear one of these days!

Hired Wes Durham for divorce representation. He failed to give basic guidance and acted like I…read moreshould magically know everything I needed to do- like I get a divorce every day. When I pointed it out, he got angry instead of helping. His clerks were rude and even blamed me for their mistakes. He bragged about his own house instead of focusing on mine. And despite me arriving 15 minutes early, he left me sitting in the waiting room for over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment. I paid for legal support and got dismissiveness, arrogance, and wasted time. Retiring or not, clients deserve better. To make matters worse, Mr. Durham delayed releasing my case file after I terminated services until I threatened them with contacting the Kentucky Bar Association, dragging out an already stressful process. I was expecting a refund, however, they wanted to charge me even MORE than what I'd already paid. His final invoice was padded with excessive charges- $75 for a single summary letter and hundreds more for redundant 'review' and 'emails.' Even basic client communication was billed as though it were complex litigation. After I disputed the charges, the firm only waived the remaining balance when I made it clear I was ready to involve the Kentucky Bar Association. That's twice I had to threaten them with the Bar Association, and they caved both times. Beware.

The staff at Miller and Durham is the best and most understanding people there. I have not once felt like I was treated as a case, but like I actually mattered to these folks. It is not easy for a father to gain custody of his children, and for what reason who knows. Mr Miller did not back down in my case and fought for me and my children. IF YOU ARE READING THIS AND GOING THROUGH ANY LEGAL MATTER AT ALL IT WOULD BE IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO CHOOSE MILLER AND DURHAM!!!! I WILL ALWAYS BE THANKFUL FOR EVERYTHING THAT THEY HAVE DONE FOR ME AND MY CHILDREN.

What can we do?" They said "if less than $2000, it's not worth doing anything." (that includes small claims court). For the rest of the stuff, they had no answers, except, "hire us for $200/hour." No telling what the resolution could be, if we should expect to collect any of our losses, just essentially a "hire us and hope." Who in their right mind pays $200/hr for a job in which there is no clue as to how many hours it will be/what the end result will be? I know lawyers have to make a living and respect the hourly rate, but to be as vague as these guys were, they are an absolute waste of time to talk to. Look elsewhere if you actually want lawyers who understand things.

BEWARE!!! Phyllis is a TERRIBLE lawyer! Wastes your time, never knows what's going on in the case,…read morewill ask if you "sent that to me?" multiple times but never actually looks at what you send her, says she "might have deleted it" when told you've sent it multiple times, she tries harder to get you to settle than fighting for your case because "if we lose that's a year in jail", I suggest video and audio RECORDING your meetings because it'll be your word against hers when you file a complaint and she's not on your side, no matter the amount she's getting paid, if she's been assigned as a public defender you're F****D, if you correct her attitude (because she is VERY demeaning and rude) she'll tell you to hire a different lawyer as if she doesn't work FOR YOU! Sadly this is a case of a rude (not good) lawyer in a small town and she never gets corrected, she's friends with the judges and the prosecutor, so when someone reminds her that she WORKS FOR THEM she cannot handle it. Don't believe the sh!t she hangs up on her office walls, the awards and such, she's a terrible human being and an even worse attorney. No wonder Hardin county is 30 years behind the rest of the judicial system in America. Small town, tiny brains in a position of power that are in bed together, working against we the people, the people that pay them. SAD!! Definitely hire a different attorney, they may not be much better but I guarantee they won't be worse.
