Labs came back good- except my triglycerides were elevated..( my recent trip to Japan forced me to eat more rice and noodles ... lol).. Thank goodness I was the same weight as six months ago!.. My goal is to only see him once a year- but if I lower some of my numbers then he'll let me.. until the next visit in July.. He did give me some really good sources to help)..

They confirmed it was main entrance on MT rose hwy. when I promptly showed up at 3pm no one was available except the urgent care clerk who would not answer any questions and maybe I should walk around the compound to find my appointment. I replied I am here for a broken foot and you want me to walk around. I asked her if she could use that office phone next to her and call for me and she said " I don't use phone" in your favorite Russian accent.

The reassured us multiple times that they would process a refund upon us walking out to go to the Emergency room. Inflation is rising! These scam artist did not process the refund they faked like they did and we did not receive our money back in the 48 hour window they had mentioned. Again avoid at all cost! I am old, male, on Medicare, have a good Medicare Supplement Plan and am a cancer and heart attack survivor. I have a number of specialists I have to see at least once every year. Yes, I have to pay an annual fee to him for his services which is not covered by Medicare or my Supplement Plan. The benefit for me is I have a built in 2nd opinion from an excellent Doctor regarding all my blood tests, vaccines, and recommended treatments. He also has referred me to qualified specialists (when needed) that he personally knows as he is from Reno and has worked here as a Doctor for many years. These referrals have always worked out well for me. Another benefit is I have his personal cell number. I can call him directly if I have a medical issue or need a refill on a prescription. He handles my physicals and annual wellness reviews. I never have to wait in a line of patients at his office. I am able to see him usually on the same day I call him. I still travel extensively and though I have not needed him while traveling yet, he is available to coordinate my care if something happens or get my prescriptions replaced if I run out, or otherwise lose them. The peace of mind I have with having someone I trust to guide me through the complicated medical system I am experiencing as I grow old and more infirm is well worth my annual fee.

That is fine with me, my primary reason for going is the need for a referral to a specialist. He asks why I need to go to a specialist, and why I cannot just take pills for my issue. I inform him that I have been hospitalized for over a week twice in the past and have to get life-saving medications from the specialist 2-3 times a year. (If I could take a pill I would, it would save me over $3000. a year!) I told him my symptoms, which is affected by high altitude. He literally walked out of the office, and he didn't bother to order blood tests. Blood tests that would indicate very easily if I need immediate treatment. His office did send a referral. The office should inform potential patients that he specializes in sports medicine. It would save time and money.

I've confirmed with my pharmacy daily and the transmission logs from their fax says they faxed have gone through. It doesn't take a week to fill a prescription. I've been without my medication a week now. Very unethical. It's now Friday at 11:30 am and they will be closing soon. You know a full days worth of work for their practice. My god how can they be allowed a license.
