Dr Lilyquist is an awesome Ortho Dr. His staff at Swift are great. He did my.hip surgery after I broke my hip last week. Fantastic Dr. Fantastic. Staff. Highly recommend them. We went to my follow up.yesterday and they took my staples out, and he said I still have 6-8 weeks of recuperating left. Yikes. I have been in extreme pain, like really bad. Was there last night and the lady behind the counter, a younger dark-haired woman and an older woman, the MOST unfriendliness front desk staff I have ever encountered at a doctors office. Dark haired woman had a disgruntled look on her face like I was bothering her. I have been coming here for years, will not go back. ROC here I come. 5.10.24 PAC Cumings and the xray teck were both kind and helpful, however twice I waited over 15 minutes on line to reach a person, the first for my first appt and then again to make a followup. on line appointment system did not work, sent suggested email and left a voicemail for a callback and did not receive one. Called again and waited over 15 minutes for someone to answer the phone and then got a message saying leave a message. HIRE MORE STAFF PLEASE. EDIT 6.4.24 Received a call from office manager (after sending a message on Facebook) who advised telephone problems have been sent to higher ups. Went in to get care for my son as he needed urgent care, hours show they are open until 6pm and walked in at 5:35pm. I understand it was extremely close to their closing time but not a soul was around to help me or answer any questions. The door was unlocked so I was able to get in, found someone in the PT side and they tried to look around for a front desk personnel and could not find anyone. All he said was come back tomorrow at 8am. If you are displaying your working times please make sure you are open until that time or at least have someone at your counter. Extremely disappointed in this facility and the service I received. Will not be coming here or recommending anyone bring their littles here. Refer to ANY other orthopedic clinic. read more

They made us wait for 2 1/2 hours, even though there was no one waiting in the clinic. An hour in the waiting room, half an hour in the office until the nurse saw us, and another half hour until the doctor saw us! Then, it was another half hour until the doctor came back with her signature on the page we needed. There was literally no one else there for medical things, and we sincerely think they were messing with us and making us wait for fun. The people working there were inexperienced and didn't know how to handle the patients checking in at the front desk. (except for the one nurse we had, who was delightful and spoke Spanish) and when we tried to leave, they had locked the front door we came in through! Avoid doctor Candy as much as you possibly can. I had intense pain in my neck that was radiating down my arm and Swift saved the day! I had a bad experience with Spine Nevada and realized I'd never written a review for Swift Urgent Clinic, about which I have nothing but good things to say. I called for an appointment and got one in a couple of days. The place was easy to find and everything was clearly marked, with a swanky waiting room. The intake process was easy and I didn't wait long to see a PA. She ordered some Xrays, which I did in a room across the hall from the exam room, again with no wait. Then she went over the xrays with me and we talked about causes and solutions of my neck pain. I got a referral for physical therapy and she promptly sent in a prescription for some medication to help reduce inflammation. Billing after was easy too. Physical therapy worked! So I didn't have to go back for a followup appointment. I was in a lot of pain so extra grateful that everything went so smoothly. read more

These people were the most rude and incompetent people I have ever dealt with in an possessively "professional" setting. I called multiples and left my name, phone number, date of birth, and as many details as possible and I was NEVER CALLED BACK. I started the process in January of 2023 with an X-ray and then was scheduled for an MRI. My insurance denied the doctors recommendation for an MRI, so I had to pay out of pocket. The insurance said they would approve the MRI if the doctor had a "peer to peer" conversation with my insurer. I asked for month for the doctor to do so and he never did. I called at least 10 times and got jerked around by every person I spoke to, so I eventually paid out of pocket in July 2023. The best part is I was supposed to be contacted 3-5 business days after the appointment and did not hear anything, so I eventually called the office 6 business days after the appointment and have not heard anything. If this was my institution, I would be completely embarrassed an frankly terminated. This is very sad. If this company's intent is to take care of somebody, they literally failed entirely at their responsibility. Again, I have never been contacted via email, phone, test, and had to take the complete onus personally to proactively find any "so called" results. As for the actual appointment, I was not escorted out of the office, I was never given a time or phone number to call to follow up with the results and the front desk lady had a lot of attitude and said, "you better be nice to the technicians," with an extremely snarky and rude demeanor. I will do everything in my power to go out of my way to never support this institution ever again. read more

I've been dealing with severe upper back pain for some time now. One call and I was advised to do a walk in anytime before 5pm. I arrived, checked in and was seen in under 20 min. X-rays and given a referral to start PT. Christina Grayson, PA-C gave me a thorough explanation of what was going on, what i could do to make it better. Came in Tuesday due to hearing a pop while lifting luggage on a work trip. I've been in excruciating pain and tend to shy away from ER's and Urgent cares because I am a chronic pain patient and we tend to get treated awful as we are drug seeking. I met with Preston the PA and he was kind and thorough and didn't assume I was there for medications. It was nice to be heard and validated. He came up with a treatment plan that could hopefully get me out of the acute phase of my injury until I could see my provider in the next few weeks. I can't believe how professional, kind, and spot on with me. Hands on and is always there for all patients. Chris is The PTA and NICK is the PT TECH. Oh my goodness! What a pleasant surprise! We are traveling in our rv when my arthritic knee flared up to the point that I knew I could not wait until we got back to Arkansas to see my regular Ortho doctor. I assumed I was going to have to go into a standard urgent care facility and was nervous about getting an injection from someone other than an Ortho specialist. So, on Yelp, what did I find? Swift Urgent Clinic specializing in sport, joint and spine care! Called, was told to come on in... was entered into their system, interviewed, x-rayed and put in a very clean looking room to wait to be seen. Less than 10 minutes in walks Candy. What a great experience! She was so thorough, explained everything even pros and cons of knee surgery and give me a shot in my knee. I've had many of these... this was the least painful. Swift is an extension of Spine Nevada ~ the absolute best spine resource I've experienced. In my opinion, Reno is blessed to have both of these tremendous resources, here locally. - My Backstory: In 2010, I sustained a spinal cord injury. The heroes at Spine Nevada worked together in a multi-year collaborative effort, which yielded miraculous results for my recovery and my life. This recovery ultimately allowed me to become the first spinal cord injured athlete to ski to Antarctica's South Pole for an expedition to raise funds/awareness for the High Fives Foundation (watch the 'The Push' film on Amazon Prime Video or read the book 'Two Feet Back' on Amazon as well). After beginning my SCI journey with zero feeling or movement below my belly button, I began working with Dr James Lynch and his physical therapy team. My PT campaign was led by the very talented and forward-thinking, Thais Mollet and the results were miraculous. In Northern Nevada you have two choices for urgent care for an orthopedic issue; ROC or Swift. I have never liked ROC because they are just robots who have no bedside manner to speak of. When I pulled something major in my thigh, I went to Swift Urgent Care on Vista in Sparks, Nevada. I had verified they were open until 6:00pm. It was 8 minutes till 6 when we arrived. My boyfriend went inside to get me a wheelchair and Ashley told him they were closed. When he came out and told me I called her and she said they stop taking patients at 5:30pm. I asked why that wasn't reflected on their website? Of course, no explanation. Not only that, she didn't even suggest other options, like the Renown General Urgent Care across the street or the Hospital ER down the street. I find this totally unacceptable! You claim to treat people with Urgent orthopedic injuries, but not if it's too late and might inconvenience you. Not only will I never use their services again, I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to use their services. This place is great. I was able to see someone the morning I called, the check in was swift, and the NP was great. Her demeanor was super professional and calming. Everybody that worked there was upbeat and helpful. I was able to get X-rays right there and rule out a fracture. Lastly they have some great doggie paintings on the wall. Thought I had a spider bite on my knee, swelling, stiff and painful. I saw my PCP last Friday who put me on antibiotic, said if it persisted to go to Swift Urgent Care. Had a painful night so I called and went in. Staff was very friendly , saw PA C. Slider who diagnosed a bursitis on the knee cap explaining what it was. Took X-rays and she came back showing me the inflammation. She explained the course of treatment, anti inflammatory and wear leg brace to keep knee calm to heal. I've had both of my Sons here, myself and just last Monday my wife was seen here for her right knee. We've had nothing but amazing and fast service and why we'll always continue to choose Swift Urgent Care should we need help again. My children fractured their arm, both within 10 days of each other and several months later, they both fractured a bone in their foot within 6 days of each other! Crazy! They both fractured the exact same bone in each of their foot, (It's called a dancers fracture apparently and very common) and they're both healed and doing great. I have much more great things to say but I'll leave it as this is a truly great place to go, especially on short notice and we've always gotten in FAST and with great results afterwards. My right foot was swollen with gout, so I went to Swift Urgent Care. The facility was clean and the check-in was easy. Saw Candalera Slider and she ordered ex-rays and a MRI. She gave me a prescription for the swelling and the gout. She explained what she thought was wrong and the treatment that was necessary. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff is so kind and helpful. You don't feel rushed and they take you seriously. Both visits I saw Candalera and she is such a wonderful person. I have a weird situation. My knee bleeds internally and has to be drained a lot!! I showed up and was treated better than I have been treated at any urgent care I have ever been to!!! The staff was upbeat and so positive. Then Bruce Gallio met me in the patient room and was beyond being an expert but treated me as a friend. He was truly warm and concerned. Even though we couldn't fix my situation he followed up with several other physicians to get me into an expert who could treat me. This was amazing. I was in so much pain due to sciatica. I could barely walk, especially in the mornings. I requested an appointment on their website and I received a reply within the same day. They took me in the next day. NO WAITING. It was fabulous. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. I even received an order for physical therapy with the therapist of my choice. Candalera went over the X-rays with me and explained in detail what was going on. Honestly, I just felt better knowing they were very supportive and caring. I was prescribed a NSAID. Dr. Chris Dolan has been my Orthopedic Surgeon/Doctor for the past 5 years. He performed surgery on my right hip 5 years ago after discovering I had bone spurs, a calcium ring and a bone cyst in my leg. Unfortunately, the bone spurs returned. Before Thanksgiving 2018, I was in serious pain. Dr. Dolan set up an appointment for me to get into Swift Urgent Care so I could get the cortisone shot I desperately needed. The pain was unbearable!!! The minute I walked into Swift, they had the paperwork taken care of, they took me right back to a room and within minutes Dr. Gallio and his team were able to inject my leg. Dr. Gallio and the staff were wonderful!! They made me feel comfortable. They explained everything. Had I not received that shot the day before Thanksgiving, my trip home to see my family would have been horrible! I could barely walk. I think having a clinic like Swift is a HUGE asset to the community. Swift, prompt care for orthopedic injuries was never an option. Trust me! Usually you see the doctor and have to wait weeks to get in for injections. Now myself and others in the community can finally get immediate care for these types of injuries!!
