I used to live only five minutes away, but I now live about 35 minutes away--and I still choose to come here because of how well I'm treated every single time. From the moment you walk in, the young ladies at the front desk are always smiling, welcoming, and happy to assist. The staff who bring you back and get you settled into your room are just as kind, and the doctors and medical staff genuinely seem eager to listen and help. You can tell that patient care is a priority here. I was assisted by Kiersten today, and she was absolutely wonderful. She is truly in the right line of work. She didn't simply treat the immediate problem--she took the time to ask questions, research further, and try to understand the root of what was going on. She made me feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. To me, that is exactly what working in healthcare should be about: caring for people and making them feel like their concerns matter. Updated to three stars because I was able to outwit the unhelpful AI, get an operator and get transferred. She was very nice as was the attendant who answered at the urgent care. Good thing I am you capable enough to figure this out but the current tech used is a complete and utter failure.

While some staff members continue to provide excellent service, my recent experiences highlight several areas that need improvement. Scheduling and communication issues have become a significant problem. My doctor ordered both a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound. During my initial attempt to book the appointments, the first representative was inflexible and insisted I use a different location instead of the Sierra Rose site I requested. On the day of my appointment, I waited more than 30+ minutes past my scheduled time only to learn that the appointment order had been changed without notice. The sonographer performed the ultrasound first, found everything clear and benign, and, after review by the onsite doctor, recommended canceling the mammogram. The sonographer was very professional and thorough; however, the issues were clearly outside of her control. This was a front office and scheduling problem. The overall coordination was poor and confusing. Compounding the frustration, I received a follow-up call the next day informing me that I still needed to schedule the mammogram. This was especially stressful and confusing, as it directly contradicted the previous day's assessment and my doctor's original orders. For the next couple of days, RDC continued calling me persistently about scheduling a follow-up mammogram. The representatives had difficulty communicating clearly, and the calls ended without resolution. I'm also unsure whether it is standard practice to override a doctor's order for a diagnostic mammogram when one was performed within the prior 30 days. Additionally, as a self-pay patient, I was charged a 3% interest fee on my credit card (waived only for cash or check). This practice feels inconsistent with industry standards and adds unnecessary burden to patients. In today's largely cashless society, this feels like an unnecessary burden on patients. Medical practices can typically deduct these fees as business expenses, making it preferable for the office to absorb them rather than pass them on to loyal self-pay customers. It appears the center has undergone an acquisition, and many team members seem to be in training. These changes appear to have impacted service consistency and communication quality. I requested to speak with a manager and sent a follow-up email, but I have not received any response. I hope management will address the scheduling processes, staff training, coordination with referring physicians, and billing policies so that Reno Diagnostic Center can restore the high level of care it was once known for. This review is intended to help bring these issues to their attention.

Rarely do they have two people for check-in. I must say they are always polite and don't seem to stop for brakes until the crowd is gone. Early is the worst time to go but many times you have to fast. This review is for my visit on the 9th of Jan. The young lady seemed not as experienced as some of the others in there that draw blood samples. I never had a problem in the past and they have no problem finding the right spot. This lady did not hit the vein spot on and so she was moving the needle around while in my arm. She only got half a vial. The elastic was put on way too tight so my arm hurt most of the day. PLUS that spot had a huge bruise about the size of two silver dollars. I showed my husband when I got home and he has never had that problem there. She needs more experience before she deals with the public. I wish I wold have taken a photo.

Labs came back good- except my triglycerides were elevated..( my recent trip to Japan forced me to eat more rice and noodles ... lol).. Thank goodness I was the same weight as six months ago!..
