RCG was a sub-contractor for the contractor I hired. The work on my home started several weeks late due to RCG failing to communicate with my contractor, took weeks longer than their original estimate, and several months after the work has been completed, I am still playing email tag because they have been unable to keep me informed about a backordered floor repair kit. The laborers that performed the work did a great job overall, however there are some gaps in the flooring where they cut to fit corners and edges. The cabinets have some holes where they missed studs and had to relocate the screw and there are holes where they mounted the door on the wrong side of a cabinet and didn't patch the holes.

I had Affordable Granite fabricate two quartz window sills from a remnant for me. The remnant came…read morefrom their stock and was black quartz with silver sparkles. The largest sill was for the window above the kitchen sink, so it's highly visible. Both sills were scratched prior to me picking them up. As soon as I saw the largest sill in the shop, I noticed the scratches even though the sill was covered with a lot of dust from the fabrication. The biggest scratches were two 6" parallel lines. I figured they came from the machine used to do the fabricating. I mentioned the scratches and Miza advised me to mask them with a Sharpie. He said something to the effect that no one would see the scratches. I put the sills into my car. As I was driving away I told my friend in the passenger's seat that the sills were scratched. She said she saw the biggest scratch on the kitchen sink sill right away before I mentioned it. Also, one of the dog ears on this sill wasn't squared. Before I left Affordable Granite, and before I had time to really contemplate their workmanship, I picked out another remnant because I figured I have them fabricate another sill from a different remnant. I pointed it out to Miza. He indicated that he understood, but he didn't mark the remnant with my name as was done before. I asked him if he was going to mark it, but he said he'd remember. When I texted him a week or so later with my measurements he had forgotten which remnant I wanted. He asked me to describe it. I described the remnant in a text, and then I never heard from him again.

At no point were we informed that this was unauthorized or unrelated to your company until after the work was left incomplete and concerns were raised. Barry, himself, along with my 3 witnesses that personally saw Barry, Jason and the gentlemen with a ford truck There is documentation, including messages and representations, connecting the work performed to American MasterCraft and affiliated business names. . From the homeowner's perspective, workers arrived at our residence, performed partial work (Which still remains unfinished), accepted payment, attempted to change pricing mid-project, failed to complete the agreed scope, and then ceased communication. Lets not forget after contacting me (barry), Barry sent out Jason the very next day at 10am, i made Jason called Barry in front of me, my wife, my father and a worker at our home that we had to paused service for while Jason came by, Barry answered the phone and said he said he sent Jason to do a estimate. Regardless of internal authorization disputes, the result for our family was and is the same: incomplete and damaged work with no resolution. Jason did receive payment with a receipt from us as he didn't have one on him and we have the bank statement after he kept pressuring us to pay him. If your company name was misused, that is a serious issue that you need to address with Jason & Barry, your worker you are denying, and one you should investigate internally. However, as the homeowner, I can only review and document what was presented to us and what occurred at our home along with what i, personally, experienced from this company. Val came through and gave us honest feedback and guidance on our project, the bid was either lower or in line with other bids received. The part that made us go with Pro Quality was the fact that they have their own team and limit how much work gets subbed out. This way the schedule was easier to adhere to, and quality and communication were kept to a high standard. Vadim set everything up in Builder Trend so that we could easily see the work scheduled out and knew what was coming up and what to prepare for. Communication was also great and they made sure that every time someone was coming to the house he would let us know when to expect them. Even if it was the inspectors!
