I talked to someone as they said, but got no a wrong ETA . Now since I got no email and they refuse to answer if it is in or when it will be in, I am stuck. I assume they are mad because I am bugging them and they want me to wait for the email, but what if that is not the case? How long should I wait for the email? Tried to cancel but only got more anger. Tried to have it shipped instead but they could not do that without cancelling the order and would have to charge 10 dollars plus 25 shipping for a 15 mile shipment.

The place is nice and spacious so you don't feel too cluttered. Platt had tons of this in stock, and sells both by the foot and by the spool. Platt's prices were extremely low, service was very friendly and prompt, and the employee helping me was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I was impressed with their huge variety of electrical supplies and tools, as well as their very low prices. I am also blown away by the quality of the products they sell. One of my local hardware stores finally got 1" flex conduit back in stock, but it is very flimsy, cheap-feeling, and wasn't anywhere near as high quality as what I purchased from Platt. I can't recommend Platt Electric Supply highly enough, and am looking forward to my next electric project so I can do some more shopping there.

Called the store on the 6th and was told they'd arrived. Drove to the store only to find out that they'd ordered the wrong size, capacity and amount. They confirmed that it was the same item that had been lost in transit. I showed them the note written by the sales person which was completely different from either order. Was then told they don't have what I want. They apologized and I get that mistakes happen, but how much more does a customer have to do to get such a simple part from what are supposed to be the experts? I'll never get anything from them again.

This is a place that specializes in casters and in general helping things roll. What lured me in the door was the extensive selection of LED flashlights that they stock. I also enjoyed walking back in time, as this place has been around since 1950 and based on the other customers I witnessed, this is a place that hard working folks who have materials handling needs go for good service and at a reasonable price. And that includes the old stuff that may lack parts or needs repair to keep things going. I must have spent a good half hour considering my LED options and finally settled on a model that included a slide mechanism that revealed a shop light. I could have done more retail damage, but since I've taken such a "shine" to this place, I'm sure I'll be back and illuminate my options a bit more.

There are usually nice live edge slabs around, as well as flooring and other specialties. It's less a showroom than a warehouse, with rather cumbersome horizontal 'pallets' of wood. Not very easy or necessarily recommended to pick through. Despite this, I have found many great cuts of lumber here, and the prices are excellent. Calling ahead is a good idea as it's just a few people running the show.
