I was thrown from the motorcycle onto the car, breaking its windshield. The collision also caused me to break the motorcycle's handlebars with my thighs and its windshield with my upper body or head--I'm still not entirely sure how. My injuries included bruised thighs, bruised arms, a bruised sternum, one broken bone, and 12 stitches across my forehead. Initially, I didn't think my injuries were severe and wanted to go home, but the EMTs insisted on taking me to the hospital, and I am thankful they did.
