I owe Dr, Tang and his staff my sanity!! I am bipolar (a…read morelabel I resisted for a long time). I accepted my depression but didn't want to recognize the mania aspect. His therapist was patient to point out recurring episodes that are clearly manic. I reluctantly agreed but was okay with my 'mania' because I am extremely productive during these times. (In essence I wanted to treat my depression but keep my mania) About 5 months into TMS, therapy, and medications, I (like so many patients) felt very good and discontinued treatment. Gradually (over 6 months), coupled with major traumatic events, my bipolar disorder became uncontrollable. Insomnia and panic attacks were taking over my life. I had never had a history of insomnia and panic attacks. These led to severe depression (and I no longer had my desired mania to help motivate me). In desperation (and much to my shame and embarrassment), I reached out to Dr. Tang and asked for help. His staff was gentle, understanding, and nonjudgmental about my self discontinued treatment. I was quickly seen (via Face Time...I love this because I don't drive and truly had no energy for an office visit) by a nurse and then Dr. Tang. I was honest with everything this go around. Within one week on the proper medications and support, I began sleeping, eating, and being productive in what I would consider a 'normal' fashion. I (and my family and friends) were getting the 'old me' back!! It was so wonderful she exciting!! Today (just one month later), I am free!! Dr. Tang (after careful and considerate review of my symptoms and history) NAILED my situation!!! No more panic attacks. No more insomnia (I have a great 8 hours of sleep). No more depression. And no more mania ((I am okay without it if it leads to me panic and insomnia that was severely debilitating. I am so very glad I returned to Dr. Tang. Again, there was no judgment concerning my decision to'do my own thing' without Dr, Tang and therapy. I am so at ease and balanced!! I highly recommend Nashville Brain Institute. Trust him and be honest. I did and am living again!!

Then I tried again and heard back and they told me for the neurofeedback I was interested in someone else would contact me, but they never did. A year later I tried again and I finally got someone to call me after reaching out multiple times and they said they don't take insurance, which is not what it seemed to say on their website. Overall I got bad vibes from them and so I'm leaving this review just to let them know that you lost a client before you even had them by being very bad at following up and very unclear and unforthright in your costs. Meanwhile other TMS and neurfeedback clinics in Nashville got back to me in 1 day. The only reason I tried to give this one a chance is because it was a closer drive, but it's just not worth it.

State-of-the-art technology, empathy, and care all played a pivotal role in our experience. Everyone went above and beyond. There just aren't enough words to express the appreciation. I've had multiple stays at Vanderbilt University Medical Center throughout December and January,…read morealong with ongoing visits with several specialists and extensive testing. From the beginning, the level of care has been exceptional. Every representative I've spoken to has treated me with the absolute best care from the ER to billing and every department in between. The consistency of professionalism and compassion across the board has truly stood out. During my stay in the Round Wing over the Christmas holiday on the 6th floor, my main nurses were absolutely amazing. They were attentive, compassionate, and went above and beyond during a very difficult time. Even when I had a small issue, it was handled quickly and professionally the supervisor had it addressed by the next morning without hesitation. That level of responsiveness and patient-centered care made a lasting impression. Every department I've interacted with has been organized, knowledgeable, and committed to doing things right. I'm grateful for the continued care I've received and will continue making the 2-hour drive each way to be treated at Vanderbilt because of the trust I have in their teams and the quality of care they provide.

Greetings to all, My…read moreexperience has been the opposite of the gentleman in the above review, I regret very much what does sound like a nightmare experience. My son has MoyaMoya disease that has required two brain surgeries by Dr. Mericle and his staff, and both times it went well. And associated tests went well too. We have been to the office and hospital about 6 times for different services and have always been happy with the doctors and the office personnel. We are fortunate to have Dr. Mericle here in Nashville, and to serve patients from around the U.S. charles coryn, lancing, tn.

It is impossible to communicate with anyone in the office. They do not answer the phone, and it does not roll to voicemail. There is only one contact number, no email address or any way to get in touch with them when the phone does not work! The last time I actually got through after FIVE attempts, I told them, and they agreed it was broken, but a month later, it is still not fixed. They are dealing with patients in excruciating pain and can't answer the phone?? We never saw the doctor. We saw the PA, which is fine, but we were not told to expect this. She was going to call us after MRI, and someone much less knowledgable did and we were unclear what the next steps were. They took forever to set up the referral for treatment. The most horrific problem we had was when they referred us to a different doctor for treatment, they sent the records for a DIFFERENT PATIENT over. So they were calling and sending paperwork to the wrong person. We never got any follow up calls. After the treatment was not effective, I called to discuss options and was told a nurse would call back. Nothing. Really it is unbelievable the lacking concern of any doctor office we have tried here in Nashville. But this was definitely the worst. We selected this doctor due to the large number of 5 star reviews on all the health review sites. Our experience was NOT good. (Also, they do not have online payment option like all the other doctor offices we have seen lately. Can't pay online, can't get through on the phone, can't pay while in the office. I don't mail checks.)
