State-of-the-art technology, empathy, and care all played a pivotal role in our experience. Everyone went above and beyond. There just aren't enough words to express the appreciation. I wouldn't hesitate to seek care for myself or anyone I love here.

From the beginning, the level of care has been exceptional. Every representative I've spoken to has treated me with the absolute best care from the ER to billing and every department in between. The consistency of professionalism and compassion across the board has truly stood out. During my stay in the Round Wing over the Christmas holiday on the 6th floor, my main nurses were absolutely amazing. They were attentive, compassionate, and went above and beyond during a very difficult time. Even when I had a small issue, it was handled quickly and professionally the supervisor had it addressed by the next morning without hesitation. That level of responsiveness and patient-centered care made a lasting impression. Every department I've interacted with has been organized, knowledgeable, and committed to doing things right. I'm grateful for the continued care I've received and will continue making the 2-hour drive each way to be treated at Vanderbilt because of the trust I have in their teams and the quality of care they provide.

I was very unhappy with my visit to this clinic. I came in for a consult regarding surgical…read moretreatment for Type II Diabetes, PCOS, and Hypertension. The NP who visited with me was rushed and not helpful. At the end of the appointment, I left knowing no more about the procedure than what I had already learned from the information on their website and the research I had done myself on the internet and by talking with others who have had the procedure. No medical treatment was provided during the consultation other than a weigh-in and a blood pressure reading with an electronic cuff. The NP also told me that I could expect to lose about 70 pounds with constant exercise and strict dietary guidelines. This was a weight-loss I knew I could expect to have without the surgical procedure, so I decided not to proceed with surgical treatment. I received a bill for their "services" about a month later. This bill was for the full amount of the visit ($311). They had billed my insurance for "obesity" treatment, which my insurance does not cover. I attempted to call their billing office twice. The first time I called I was on hold for 45 minutes, during which time no one picked up the phone. The second time, I remained on hold for over 20 minutes before I gave up. I called the doctors' office and spoke to someone (Donna?) who handles their billing. I explained my situation, emphasized that I was not proceeding with treatment, and asked if there was some way that my bill could be reduced. She said that there was nothing she could do and told me to call my insurance company (which I had already done). I then mailed a letter to both the doctors' office and the billing company asking them to please code my visit as diabetes treatment, which my insurance will pay for. I received no response, only another bill. So I called the office again, and spoke with the office manager. She agreed to talk to the NP about recoding my visit and resubmitting my claim to my insurance company. She told me she would return my call with a resolution by the end of the next day of business. Over a week later, I still have not received a return call. If you choose to have bariatric surgery, and you want a caring, responsive medical team, don't go to this office.

Horrendous, uncaring, overbooked practice with condescending staff. It's hard for me to even know…read morewhere to begin. I became a patient of this clinic last fall, and have been attempting to find the root of a host of symptoms ever since. My provider was extremely dismissive of very serious symptoms, including some bloodwork that came back indicative of major systemic problems. In consults with others that use this provider, she seems to always be this way. Speaking of bloodwork, when I needed additional testing, I was asked to come in for an additional blood draw and that it would take "10 minutes" and on three separate days had to wait over an hour, and therefore leave and return another day. Need a referral? Be prepared to wait. For weeks. And for it to be wrong/not taking into account your insurance situation. I waited weeks to hear something from an abdominal ultrasound referral and only after I called again did I learn it had been sent to an out of network clinic that did not have my information and needed to be started all over again. A need for a dermatology referral produced the same result, but fortunately I was able to handle the booking and insurance situation on the phone. They never were able to find the referral. Oh, then there's the one prescription that I was told would be called in (an allergy med) that never was. Ever. And the other (an anti gas med I didn't want to be on and told my provider the second they suggested it I didn't want) that she called in anyway and I was hassled about not picking up. And let's talk about the staff. There's one lady at the appointments desk that has once hung up on me in the middle of a reschedule and, when I asked to switch providers due to dissatisfaction with the one that has seen me for months and been dismissive of my results, was UNBELIEVABLY condescending and rude. There are multiple people working that desk, but every time I get this one a minor request turns into a PROBLEM. If you'd like to say you have a doctor without actually having one, by all means the Frist clinic is correct for you. It's a weird 4th floor urgent care with hospital prices and wait times. At best. If you have something really wrong and want a partner in your health, go literally anywhere else. I'm sure there are exceptions but I feel like this clinic is, overall, a landing spot for people who care very little about their patients' experiences, wellbeing, or outcomes.

From the go, she was arrogant, condescending and completely dismissive of any question I had. I was looking to have a discussion and ask questions regarding my care, but she was bound and determined to shut that down. She proceeded to take out a piece of paper and draw a diagram of how the thyroid works and how medication works, like someone who had not had a history of thyroid issues. I guess she didn't like the fact someone was sitting in front of her that had educated themselves on their condition. I left knowing I would never return.
