If I could give this dealership ZERO stars, I would. I went in on Monday 4/20 and was there from 5:30 PM until 9 PM. I was told to come back the next day to pick up the vehicle, receive the license plates, and allow time for detailing. When we returned, we were made to wait 30 minutes before being told a part still needed to be installed and the car wouldn't be ready until the following day. Then we waited another full hour just to be issued a loaner vehicle. What makes this worse is that after I had already signed paperwork, they restructured my deal and ran my credit through multiple hard inquiries without clear communication. On the scheduled pickup day, we were again told the car needed to be detailed--despite being told the night before that it had already been taken care of. They also kept the second key. When my wife arrived for pickup, she was told the car would be ready at 1:30 PM, only to be left waiting an additional 45 minutes. At that point, we were told detailing was backed up and that a wheel still needed repair. This entire experience was disorganized, misleading, and extremely frustrating from start to finish. There was a complete lack of transparency, poor communication, and zero respect for our time. I will not be returning, and I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here to think twice. read more

I had a frustrating experience. I was there for about two hours despite having an 8:30 AM appointment, and I noticed other customers coming and going while I was still waiting. My service advisor, Taylor Jones, did not seem proactive--each time I asked for an update, I was told they hadn't brought my keys yet rather than him checking on the status of my vehicle. Given that he was my advisor, I expected more follow-through. Additionally, it was Taylor who walked me to my car, and I was told to only complete the survey if I could give 100%, otherwise not to fill it out. I later received an email referencing the survey and offering a detailing service if I gave a 100% response, which didn't sit right with me. I have not completed the survey. Overall, it didn't feel like my time or feedback was respected, and I'm not sure I'll be returning. read more

Drove over an hour to this dealership based on a listing for a 2022 Tesla Model Y showing ~36K miles. When we arrived, the actual mileage was 63K, a 27,000 mile difference. That's not a small mistake, that's a completely different car. Despite this, they kept us there for over an hour saying they could "work with us," only to come back and able to knock $200 bucks off. We came in good faith, ready to buy, but the situation felt misleading from the start. Very frustrating experience, especially having my family with me and making the long drive. The service department deserves five stars but the sales department is a no. Their lack of knowledge is a turn off. I asked them a simple question and it took three employees to ultimately direct me to ask someone at another dealership. I found that to be surprisingly unhelpful and unprofessional. If they're not getting a sale from you, they don't seem interested in doing much for you. However, I think that this may unfortunately be the culture of sales at Acura as I've seen this at different locations. This is my first and last Acura. Back to the service department- I've always been greeted warmly and serviced quickly. Recently leased a sub from these guys, and I was totally impressed with the salespersons: Christian, James and the manager Patrick on the last minute purchase we were making on New Years Eve , they were packed with people trying get those end of year deals. We purchased very little going back and forth, and a very good price. Worst customer service. Bought a used truck here, after everything was paid for the salesman couldn't even bring me the keys when they brought the truck around just gave it to some random worker to give to me. The key fob didn't even work other than to be close enough to start the vehicle. Tried calling everyday after that to speak to him, he would never answer or call back. BEWARE!! We were lied to the entire time we were there. My husband and I are both looking for cars due to our cars being damages by hail. 1) We stopped by Vandergriff Acura and the first thing I asked was what interest rates they were offering. The sales guy says 7-8% depending on credit. I was shocked. We had been to another Acura dealership and they told us 3.99%. 2) I liked one of their SUVs on the showroom floor. I looked at the price and stated outloud, "$56,000." (this was upgraded from the orignal price of $52 for tint, luxury package and a few other things) He said confidently, "don't look at the price" making it seem that it shouldnt be a deterant and giving us the impression they could work something out. When it came to talk numbers, he stated the price for the vehicle was $59k+. When asked about the $3k difference, he said that they added the sideboards, window tint, and roof racks had not been added to the price and/or sticker on the car. Then tries to tell us that the luxury package that the $56k included was for the floor mats and the cargo tray equalling $3k (not only outrageous but also standard according to the prior dealership we visited). 3) my husband test drove a used TLX S type marked "As Is, No Warranty." As I'm sitting in the passenger seat, something under the glove compartment is leaking on my sandle. The sales guy says its probably cleaning solution because they clean it to show. The car was filty and had not been cleaned. On our drive home my husband finds the same exact car on their website marked as certified. They say car salesmans are crooks and liars and this dealership truely stands up to that. I will never buy a car from any Vandergriff! read more

I saw a used car online and was emailing with the internet sales department, who never answered my questions accurately and kept insisting that I needed to come in to get the best pricing. My husband and I went into the dealership, said that we'd seen this specific car online, and after a test drive, we were prepared to purchase the car. I asked a number of detailed questions about the original price to understand options this car had in comparison to another that we were considering. At that point, the sales manager brought over a price sheet that reflected a price $2685 higher than it was posted for online and with dealer add-ons that were more than $2000 more than posted online. When I pointed this out, he said that if I'd told him I had looked at the car online, he would have given me different pricing. I'm unclear how me saying that I'd looked at it online and telling him that I'd seen the price fluctuating for a few days was not a clear indication that I'd looked at the car online. I'm also unclear on the insistence for me to come in to get the best price, then quoting me a price nearly $5000 higher than it was online. Today, we got an email addressed to my husband apologizing to him - not to me - which further cements my impression of how this place does business. read more

We just bought a new 2026 Acura, that experience was fine, same as any other dealership. A week after we purchased the vehicle we decided to come back for a hand wash and had high expectations. We were very disappointed, not only did they take a long time, but they did not do a good job and we're pretty sure that they didn't actually hand wash it like we requested. We came back today to give them another chance and waited. 45 minutes before they even took the car back, they must have not labeled it correctly or something because it sat while other cars went through. we finally asked somebody. Hey why is the car not going anywhere and she went out to talk to one of the guys and they took it back right after that but then another 45 minutes later we're still waiting for this to be a luxury vehicle the service was not at all up to par. And the people we talked to were fine, but the people in the back that we're working on the car and in charge of taking the car back where the problem. read more

I am not much to write reviews but after hearing close family and friends asking about my experience with Vandergriff, I do not recommended this dealership at all. When we bought our RDX sales consultant dismissed me when I asked about the second key. Vehicle was never fully cleaned or serviced. There was dog hair everywhere. Three months with the vehicle on our way back from a trip transmission started overheating. Took it the next day to have it serviced at and it turned out there was NO transmission fluid. They gave me 5 sheets of services the vehicle needed. I told them it was them who serviced the vehicle and again was ignored and just asked for payment. To make matters worse I was told by another Acura dealership that the vehicle did not have remote start like they had stated and the vehicle had been in an accident. Better make sure your vehicle comes with a spare tire. I didn't - and 3 days after Acura Care expired, I paid $154 to have my vehicle towed for a tire replacement. This is my fourth Acura, and my third from this dealership, but apparently customer loyalty is not appreciated, because they have refused my request for a reimbursement. read more

She made sure I had a loaner and even offered to get me in one sooner so that my transmission did not get worse. Later that day my husband jumped the battery & took it to Auto where they confirmed the battery was dead. My husband purchased a new battery. I bought that battery from Acura October 2022 still within the 3 year warranty. I called & asked if I could bring their battery back & they can put a credit on my account. Vandergriff called to set appointment for recall work on my MDX, which i did. I was told that it's a 1 hour job so I waited. One hour and 15 minutes in I asked my service advisor when they would be done. At that point over an hours wait and my asking about my suv I was told another customer got the last part, and they could have another part there tomorrow. OK wow, A. Blaming another customer for taking the part is ridiculous. B. They asked me to bring my suv in for the recall. C. I could still be sitting there if I had not asked about timing. D. After waisting 2 hours of my time, the service manager (who was out that day) was going to call me the next day, not my request, they offered. He did not call, nor has he called me in the days to follow. This is a lesson in the A, B, C, & D's of failure on Vandergriff Acuras part. read more

Extremely disappointed with my experience at Vandergriff Acura. Was in contact with a sales associate who had told me that his sales manager had told him that they would payoff my current vehicle with no negative equity. I confirmed this with the sales associate as I did not want to waste both of our time and he had confirmed that there would be no negative equity. I drove over an hour to get to the dealership to find out that it was not true. With that said, I was going to be $14k in negative equity. I had spoken with the sales associate who checked with his manager twice and was told that they couldn't do anything about it. I felt that I was lied to just to get me to the dealership which was a waste of time and gas especially again coming from over an hour away one way drive. For a company that says that they value their reputation so highly, it's surprising that they would lie to me just to get me to the dealership. I highly do not recommend going to this dealership! Let me start off by saying the sales manager for pre-owner vehicles here and his employees are unethical and dishonest. When I purchased my car I was promised 6 oil changes with tire rotations so they could close the deal. I went in and asked about my remaining services and they told me I had no remaining services left after the car surpasses 24k miles by the service department but was told I could discuss it with the sales team since they were the department that had agreed to give me the services in conditions to buying the car. We walk over to the sales department and meet with the manager who had agreed to throw the maintenance. They even had it on paper, in file but not the official contract and they wouldn't honor it and the fact that they had made an error on their end. I purchased the vehicle at the end of the month and I'm sure they were just hungry for the commission since it was September 29th and the month was going to end. Least to say they are unethical and unprofessional and were not acknowledging the document they had on file. read more

The only reason they get one star is because 0 star is not an option. We were told for days that the car we wanted is available. Texted the morning we were heading there with a 45 minute drive and told that the car was available. Arrived at the dealership and asked for Jin Chung who had repeatedly told us the car was available and had set the appointment for us to view the car. He started asking us what we were looking for in a car and we told him we want to see the car we told him we were there to see and he proceeded to tell us he had to go talk to his manager. He then came back and told us the car was sold. He knew the car had been sold before we even came to the dealership but allowed us to make a 45 minute drive knowing the car was sold. The service denied any wrong doing. The service guy wanted me to pay for $120 towing for 3 miles from my house to Vandergriff Acura service to do a recheck. I bought my 2018 Acura from here sales guy was very nice but they tried to make me pay for tinted windows , nitro in tires , detailing it , and some coating crap which I refused as the previous owner had already paid for all that . I did not pay for any of it ,(people put your foot down and don't fall for all this crap ). The next thing is my left tire started going flat come to find out my tires are dry rotted which yes I'm a women and didn't notice especially since they had them all polished up , so that being said I'm having to buy new tires today . I post this reluctantly, but after being ignored by the General Manager, Jimmy Le and Client Relations Manager Chantelle Cantrell , I will share the following; after several emails from Jimmy Le and Chantelle Cantrell this was my last email to them, that of course , went unanswered.... Chantelle, I have received several calls from Vandergriff Acura. Considering that you and Mr. Le ignored my concerns (see attached email) I did not answer, until today. the waiting area was a mess. the initial work order was an old copy with handwritten "CC fee" notice on it. the service tech was very hurried and appeared to be over worked. unlike Mercedes and Lexus your database is not integrated with other dealerships and therefore the tech recommended thousands of dollars of work that had already been done. Acura is supposedly a luxury brand but the waiting area had vending machines...that did not work. The 3% CC fee was not disclosed when I scheduled, that is bait and switch. The 3% CC fee is egregious! If Vandefgriff is paying more than 2% on MC/Visa merchant services you need a new accountant. You may consider me one very dissatisfied customer; not because of the many problems, but because you chose to ignore them. read more
