Pioneer Frontier Park has something for kids of all ages. Slides and things to climb on for toddlers. Bigger slides and things to climb on for your older kids. Swings for all sizes, and even a kid powered merry go round. Let's not forget the fence enclosed splash pad, which is great for keeping wet kids in and dry kids out. The equipment is in excellent condition, and the grounds are clean. The only slight drawback is that the play area is covered with mulch instead of recycled tire, so a fall is a little more painful.

There are 2 lil baby swings, 1 swinging chair and 3 regular swings. There's Hop Scotch and a Brand new mountain stone Pavilion with a fireplace that really works and has a Mantel over it. A great first visit today! This play center has been open for about 3 months, though I just…read morerecently heard about it through social media. There's a special for toddlers on Tuesday mornings, so we thought it was the perfect time to give it a try. This is a play center for 1-10 year olds, but seems best suited for those under 8. It isn't a jump park-- it is a true play area with ball pits, a dress up area, art room, playhouse, and much more. There is also an air hockey table, which the older kiddos would enjoy. My 4 year old had an absolute blast and didn't want to leave even after almost 3 hours there. Mr. JB at the front desk is the epitome of customer service, doing everything from welcoming guests to wiping down surfaces on the ballpit. He even came around to check on us and tell us about the facility. So happy to see and support a locally owned business in Hixson, and especially one that seems to be doing it RIGHT! Can't wait to get in for another visit.

Get tired of the zoo you can go to the park and play on the playground. Get tired of the playground or want to cool off you go to the splash pad / pool. $3 entrance! I absolutely had a blast today with my grandson. Everything is meticulously maintained. There was a broken down structure in the playground but other than that it was pretty well maintained. The splash pad was clean and looked very safe and I love how everything was fenced in away from the pools so you don't lose a toddler. They also have a merry-go-round. I will let you all know that review when I go back to go into the zoo section! Good job Chattanooga this is brilliant!

They had JUST repaved the parking lot where you park to use both the amazing park and it's splash pad and pool. Mid-May, there were workers getting the pool prepped for opening day. There are bathrooms, water fountains, picnic tables, some grassy areas, a playground for toddlers and a separate area for the kids 5+. There is even a really neat zipline. We were happy to find this sizable and well-maintained park. Our kids are still asking about it a week later.
