According to their website, The Commons happily hosts everything from bridal showers, weddings, and birthday parties to festivals and farmer's markets! They offer some lovely options for any event with not too shabby rental rates We've enjoyed visiting with our dog for a picnic and walking. It is a very clean and pet friendly complex. It's spacious, offers covered pavilions, walking paths, and multiple restrooms. The grounds are well maintained with plenty of parking, too. We look forward to returning for photos with the larger than life Little Debbie treat replicas at the Little Debbie Park!

It's a nice shaded pavilion with plenty of space to fit a good number of people in. The bathrooms are tidy and up to date which is nice for a park type of bathroom. This park is well maintained, with restroom facilities, and offers easy hiking trails, paved paths to jog, walk, cycle, or push strollers. Keep in mind that if you walk on the area where vehicles can drive on, all pedestrians are supposed to be on a certain side of the road. Just follow all the signage and instructions around the park. The park staff are friendly, and it's nice that maps are provided in the welcome center as well as select map stations around the park. A police vehicle is stationed at the front and is occasionally seen patrolling the park. Another neat park feature of the park is the bunkers! We've found at least one open to view inside. Supposedly, the bunkers were used to store TNT. The cherry on top to this park, though, is the newly added dog park, Barks and Tails. Our dog LOVES it, and so do we. Enterprise South Nature Park is really wonderful and an easy place to enjoy a fun filled outing.

There are parking places about a block away. So, you will have to walk a little to this destination. Now, there is a roundabout at the entrance to this dog park but I don't know if you can park there because I didn't see any official looking parking places there. Overall, your dog will be happy here as he will want to come back. This dog park has some wonderful offerings. Not only is it located in the beautiful wooded, shaded, and peaceful nature park, it is also full of fun amenities for your furry family members.  The dog park is on an enclosed 1 acre space for off leash play and exercise with a variety of fun and thoughtful touches. There's a dog-friendly sandbox, different agility course features, and a splash pad. Other amenities include a dog water fountain, dog wash station, benches, and dog waste stations with courtesy bags. Current park hours are open 7 days a week, 7AM to 7PM, and access is FREE! We also heard that supposedly, the park staff will be working on an expansion to the Barks and Tails Dog Park, increasing it's size to about 4 acres and incorporating a trail into the space as well. It's pretty exciting!
