I was looking for someone that could patch my walls / plaster, replace baseboards, replace the casing for my door, and replace the trim around my ceilings. Everyone else I talked to "knew a few guys." Well when you "know a few guys" you end up hiring for the carpentry, drywall, etc. work and it takes forever plus you aren't guaranteed the quality. I'm so happy we went with Vangos Painting, they did it all and they did an absolutely fantastic job. I highly recommend them. Attentive to detail, on time, and reliable. I was looking for someone local (Saint Clair Shores) who would repair cracks and other damage to walls, plus paint my mother's entire house, for a reasonable price. Vango and his son John gave me the service I was looking for. Both are very polite, professional, value safety (masks worn at all times) and obviously take pride in their workmanship, which is excellent. I was so impressed by the job they did on my mother's home that I hired them again to do some wallpaper removal, plaster repair and painting in my 100 year old house. They are nearing the end of this job now and I am so pleased with their work that I will hire them again next year to help complete the kitchen remodel work I have planned for 2021. I hired Vangos a few years ago to paint my mom's coved ceiling,which was peeling very badly. They scraped and sanded everything down and applied a special sealer and then regular paint, and it looked great. More recently, I hired them to paint my great room with an 18 foot vaulted ceiling and upstairs hallway. Again, I am really happy with the results. The price was so reasonable, and the workers were prompt, polite, and professional. These are really nice people, and I would hire them again. read more

Vango's Painting is very conscientious, professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and pleasant to work with. Their pricing is extremely fair for the quality of workmanship you will get. We initially hired them to paint our Master Bedroom, dressing area, and walk-in closet. We were so happy with the results that we invited them back to paint our Master Bath and Half Bath with a special Multispec paint. This required a special paint spray application which Vango painstakingly mastered. The results were exactly what we wanted!! They take pride in their work and must be happy with the results.
