This place is definitely a little hidden gem. It is located inside of "Le Caramel" in El Cajon, CA. They are on the corner of Pioneer Way and Vernon Way for reference. I picked up and iced Americano with whole milk and a homemade pumpkin loaf topped with pumpkin seeds, both for$5. The pumpkin loaf was exceptional in flavor and texture. It was not overly sweet and offered a great natural pumpkin flavor. It was super soft and moist. I loved the addition of the pumpkin seeds on the outside. The Americano was very well made. It was super smooth and delicious. I had with a touch of cinnamon with took it over the top for me. They offer a variety of terrific baked goods, including scones, sliced loaves, cookies, and rolls. They also offer teas and house made energy beverages. The service is very friendly and welcoming. If you are a coffee and wholesome baked goods fan like me, definitely check this place out!

Came here to try the Cookie Butter Latte...... WOW!! Will be coming back again! Cute little set up and good price for what their size served!

If you want to know how good the coffee actually is, an Americano will do the trick! I had an iced french toast Americano, which was perfect - strong, slightly sweet. My bestie had a hot, cookie butter latte. There are also several different types of baked goods like cookies and quick bread at a super reasonable price. Service is friendly and quick - this is an independent business, so be patient - there's only the business owner! They're housed in a cute, little shop that also includes an independent, artisanal caramel maker and someone who creates unique gift baskets. No seating at the moment, but you won't be disappointed by the yummy things they have to offer! If you're into supporting indies over corporate giants - this is a great place to try!

Found this hidden gem tucked inside a business plaza/ industrial complex look closely for the coffee sign. I ordered the large cookie butter latte with breve, and it was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, with a smooth espresso flavor and subtle Biscoff notes. I paired it with a Biscoff cookie butter scone, which was soft, flavorful, and not dry at all. Customer service was friendly and welcoming, prices were very reasonable, and they offer a wide variety of pastries to choose from. Plenty of parking available. No indoor or outdoor seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go. Must try, you won't be disappointed.

What a cute little spot!!! I happened upon it on accident this morning when on my way home from work and was looking for some coffee and a snack... they open at 0400 hours in the AM! So Apple Maps suggested it for breakfast. I was so shocked they were actually open... it's unheard of in East County. Super cute spot inside Le Carmel. Super clean, every flavor coffee imaginable and homemade on site baked goods to choose from. Their pumpkin bread is to die for. So fresh flavorful and m*ist lol delish. I ordered the bananas foster latte and there was 1.5 fresh bananas blended into the milk... so awesome and yummy! I'll totally be back! What a sweet little spot. Check it out! Very easy to miss due to the location in the industrial area but totally worth the stop. Thank you for making my morning!

Best snickerdoodles in all of San Diego.

Small shop inside Le Caramel on Pioneer. All her own recipes which she rotates. We are obsessed with the multi cheese scones and ordered a dozen for holiday dinner. Creative list of hot and cold beverages made as you watch. Every order seems to be better than the last. We are so glad we found Vanilla Oasis and enjoy new treats every week. Open midweek - go early to try the full selection of amazing baked goods. Great place to order from!

I was looking for a new coffee spot and sick of the same old chain options. I got an oat milk latte and a huge Carmel Iced Coffee for my guy. My latte has such a nice flavor, and I don't add any sweetener! My boyfriend said his was so good it had him zipping around at work! Great price for the great tasting drinks!

A special thank you to Olivea, Monica, and Noska, who made my visit even better. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They made me a pistachio frappé exactly the way I wanted it, and it was honestly one of the best I've ever had--rich, creamy, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. It's rare to find a café with both amazing drinks and exceptional customer service, but Shaghf Café definitely delivers on both. If you're looking for a place with a great atmosphere, delicious beverages, and staff who genuinely care about making your experience memorable, I highly recommend stopping by. I'll definitely be coming back!

Rude staff and a very disappointing experience…read more My friend ordered a Lotus frappe, and unfortunately, it was not good at all. It tasted more like crushed cookies than an actual frappe, and she was literally chewing on pieces of ice. Since we've ordered the Lotus frappe here before and it was perfectly fine, we figured this was simply an issue with how the drink was made this time. I politely asked if the drink could be remade as a caramel frappe instead, since we knew that one was good. Instead, we were told, "We can't do that, you would have to pay." I'm sorry, but why would we pay again for a drink that was made poorly the first time? We weren't asking for a free drink just because we changed our minds. We were asking for the original drink to be corrected because it was genuinely not drinkable. What really made the situation worse was being told, "We're not a chain like Starbucks to just remake drinks... this will go to waste." Respectfully, if the concern is that the drink will "go to waste," perhaps the better solution would be to make sure the drink is prepared correctly in the first place. I understand that businesses don't want to waste product, but making a customer pay for another drink after receiving one that was poorly made doesn't exactly feel like great customer service either. I'm not expecting the "customer is always right" treatment, and I'm certainly not trying to be difficult. But when a customer genuinely cannot enjoy what they were served, the reasonable thing would be to offer a solution rather than essentially tell them, "Sorry, pay again." We've had good experiences here before, which is why this was especially disappointing. Hopefully this was just an off day, because the way this was handled left a much worse taste than the frappe did.

I needed a quick coffee to end my day and after searching the best coffee in La Mesa, Red White and Badass Brew was the first to pop up. The owner was super nice-I didn't get his name-and he walked with me through the menu as I haven't had specialty coffee drinks like these before. I went with his recommendation of the whiskey latte (iced) and also decided to try the toasted tan lines (iced) When I tell you, my first sip transported me back to the 2013-2016 era of coffee culture when specialty drinks were first starting to get popular, I am being so serious. Both the whiskey latte and toasted tan lines were full of so much flavor. The toasted tan lines took me straight back to my trip to Kauai in 2013 and the whiskey latte was reminiscent of a latte I would get in middle school from a Brazilian small business. There was just something so nostalgic about these lattes that I had to immediately write a review. So many coffee shops lack the flavor of the 2010s before companies cut corners and scraped for our pennies, but not here Thanks for the coffee! (No pics because I inhaled them in like 5 mins on my drive home)

Unfortunately there isn't an online order line so you end up waiting anyways and they made our drinks only after we arrived and told them we had the online order. That being said everyone working was really friendly and they were working hard as it was busy on Sunday around 8. I got the gone bananas half sweet and an extra shot. My partner got the horchata matcha with extra matcha. Even my drink at half sweet was too sweet for my taste but still enjoyable. Not a strong banana flavor though. More caramel forward. My partner loved his drink but did say it was more horchata than matcha.
