I tried the Baklava Cheesecake, and wow--it was one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. The combination of creamy cheesecake and the rich, sweet flavors of baklava was incredible. My taste buds were in heaven! I also picked up some mini baklava pieces, and they were just as delicious--fresh, flaky, and packed with flavor. To top it all off, I ordered a caramel latte, and it was amazing. The coffee was smooth, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the desserts. The customer service was excellent, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. If you're in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and stop by. You definitely won't be disappointed. I've had this place saved for a while and finally made it there--honestly, not sure what took me so long. The space is gorgeous and lowkey made me feel like I had been transported to Turkey (I wish). We were greeted right away, and the woman helping us (possibly the owner) was so kind and recommended a few baklava options for us to try since it was our first time. This past Saturday, a fellow Yelp Elite introduced me to his favorite cafe for baklavas and karak tea. There were so many yummy looking treats in the display window, and the pistachio custard called out to me. This was a very interesting dessert, but it was not what I had expected. When I hear the word "custard," I think of rich and creamy, with a velvety texture. This pistachio custard had a very light consistency, almost watery. It wasn't quite as smooth or sweet as I would expect from a custard. The ground pistachio on top was mixed with some spices that gave it an earthy taste. I didn't exactly like the custard, but I didn't hate it either. Let's just say it's something that I would not recommend or order ever again. What I will recommend and order again is the karak tea. I've never had this tea before and really enjoyed it. It's a rich and fragrant tea. It's a bit on the pricey side at $6.99 for a small serving, but definitely worth it! Of course when you're at this cafe, you have to try the assortment of baklavas. We got a box with a variety of 2 pieces each. They were honestly too pretty to eat. The cafe was rather empty when we got there, but by the time we left, it was packed and people were waiting for us to leave so they could have our table. The manager who assisted us with our order was incredibly nice. She said that in about a month, their restaurant will be opened. The boarded up wall that you see in my photos will be removed, creating a joint space between the restaurant and cafe. This will be one restaurant worth visiting! read more

What a treat! They are open until 10pm which is a double win. Filled with trays of delectable Turkish desserts. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice, straight from the juicing machine. We got a few different things to go but for in dining we shared a biscoff cheesecake. Very dense and delicious if you like cheesecake. I wish I knew the background of baklava and where it comes from because every time I walk in this place I feel the culture it comes from, it's usually filled with people having baklava, a drink and good conversation... it's the most peaceful dessert place I have been too. The employees seem to be one big family with a very helping nature. They have an assortment of desserts from mini cakes, medium cakes, pastries and different slices of cake. Also, when purchasing a Turkish Delight, you can't get them in smaller sizes, but as a whole log, which, because the price is by weight, this means it will be pretty pricey. Those logs are hefty! It also makes it hard to want to try different ones. I know most places usually sell them in a variety of sizes, so was bummed this spot didn't. What I tried: - chocolate baklava: this was good, similar to other spots. - baklava cheesecake: this was so good! the cheese wasn't too sweet, so that was perfect. It was flaky and just so good! It was a little hot inside though. I was drawn to the assortment of baklava. So many options it was hard to choose! They are 25ish dollars a pound and for 4 medium pieces I paid around $12. The place was really clean and the workers were welcoming. The bakery is also attached to a Mediterranean restaurant next door that is opened from 9AM to 2 PM. I ordered the pistachio rose and pistachio sugar powdered baklava. Both 10/10. I couldn't leave without a pistachio latte and so I ordered mine. I did ask for less sweetener and it was perfect. I ordered my treats to go but ended up staying for an hour! Sometimes is best to enjoy your treats while people watching. I drove by, noticed this bakery, and decided to stop by for a sweet treat. I asked the employee if the price is per piece, and she said it was by weight. I ordered 3 pieces of baklava and 1 Turkish delight. When I asked her how much it was going to be when she weighed it as she had it on a scale, she wouldn't tell me. love, love, loved Sultán Baklava! We went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't packed, which was perfect. They have such a big variety of baklava, cakes, and other desserts. It was my first time and, being an introvert, I got a little too shy to ask about every single baklava. I really wish they would label them with short descriptions so customers could read and choose. I think this would also help on busier days for people who aren't familiar with all the options. That said, it didn't take away from my experience at all. I ended up choosing by looks (after all, you do eat with your eyes first!) and the guy helping was super kind answering my questions about the ones I picked. Every single piece I tried was absolutely delicious. The chocolate one was a bit drier in texture for me, but still so good. My favorite was definitely the classic pistachio. The place itself was spotless and very nicely decorated. It felt a little fancier than your typical coffee shop, which made the experience even better. We also ordered the pistachio and Mexican iced lattes, and wow... both were amazing. Not overly sweet, so you still taste the coffee, but the flavors were distinct and not all blended into "generic latte" like at other places.
