This was my second time coming here, and I came back because I genuinely really liked this café the first time. I ordered a latte and was honestly shocked by the price of $3.64 for a 12oz latte in San Diego in 2026?! That's almost unheard of And the crazy part is it tasted just as good as some of the $6-7 lattes I've had around the city. I also got an everything bagel with cream cheese, and it was toasted perfectly. One thing I really like about this place is the seating setup. They have study bars, smaller tables, bigger tables for groups, and even some cozy couches up a few steps which makes the space feel a little unique. I ordered a medium iced Carmel macchiato which says $4.95 on their board and when she was inputting my order into the register I saw a charge for ICE .50 cents!!!!!! First time visiting. I ordered an iced oatmilk matcha latte (half sweet). I'm not sure if it was the matcha or what, but their was an off putting flavor in the drink. First of all, I like this place and hopefully this is constructive criticism and taken that way. I had my coffee which was delish, and my girls met me and we ordered a second time, almost $30 bucks. My daughter asked a couple of questions ( she's a former barista) Do you pull single or double shots? (Pretty easy question for coffee spots) They didn't know how to answer but she got it ordered. When it came out, it had very little cold foam, an extra she paid for. She was told, well, we're going to charge you extra? Wait, why, it came out w not enough foam. They added 1/2 & 1/2 instead versus charging again. Ok, whatever. While this was going my second daughter at the counter heard the staff talking about my first daughter. ( while she's in line) Really? Folks, it's only coffee and you're in the business of being nice to customers. Simple. I will take my order not being right because that's a reality and mistakes happen. But manners matter and there should never be a circumstance where you talk shade about any customer. read more

This is the best coffee place in town. Chai tea latte and Geneva are fantastic. Best part of Coffee Corner is the employees. Everyone is friendly and very patient (even when we have been there and some customers have been rude to the staff for no real reason). What a cool coffee shop here in Santee. Cashier was friendly, gave me the WiFi password without hesitation when asked. I asked if it was alright to setup and scan some documents and she said sure, we've got power outlets everywhere. Oh, the coffee? I don't drink coffee but the iced tea was delicious and refreshing. I came to try this place out after an appointment in the area, and overall, I'd say it's ok. Their latte flavors are interesting so if I'm in Santee and craving coffee again then it's a maybe to see what else they have to offer! My highlight was the avocado toast, the bread was perfectly toasted and the flavor was all there. The blended Genieva was... ok. A little underwhelming. It was sweet which was to be expected, but I was surprised to taste practically no coffee at all. Kinda just tasted like milk and syrup blended with ice so it was a little disappointing, but next time I may add an extra espresso shot or two. The cinnamon roll... was sad :/ Cold and stale. It said it came with icing but I was given none. I took one bite when I got home and tossed the whole thing. Sucked because my whole order came out to around $20 and I only really enjoyed 1/3 of it. If I make my way back I'll probably skip the pastries and try out an açaí bowl and an iced latte! read more

This is my go to in Santee. Their cold brew is the best in Santee in my opinion. They offer 3 different varieties with very different flavor profiles. The blueberry is surprising good and the Grog is always reliable. I haven't had one in ages but their acai bowls were always really good. read more

Came here with my mom around 11:30am and was met with a lovely new addition. I noticed the upgraded work area, appliances, and more space to make drinks. The service was organized and quick. In addition to that the counters were clean and the lay out was very moveable. I can see how some people would say the benches aren't comfy as they are wooden. Today, I noticed they were missing several of their pillows. Usually they would have pillows for the backs of the wooden booths but there was only one today and it was placed in the corner where there was a seating gap. I ordered a 24 oz iced orange chocolate drink (mocha)! It tasted incredible and like I was eating the Trader Joe's chocolate orange. I love this drink and so does my mom. (These all contain espresso by the way). She ordered a 20 oz hot German chocolate drink. Which consisted of chocolate, coconut, and caramel. The flavor of the coconut was not overwhelming but subtle and delicious. It paired wonderfully with the caramel and chocolate. I usually am not a fan of German cake but this coffee creation version of it was delicious. I love how unique each Coffee drink was on the menu. I'll have to come back to try another one! One drink costed $5.75 and the other was $6.75 ~ under $7 dollars! Yay what a score. Especially for those sizes! I highly recommend coming in here for coffee. I am all for supporting small businesses, we (my coworkers and I) have been going to the Coffee Corner several times a week for months. We work at the Sharp Reese Stealy off Cuyamaca and walk down to the Town Center location during our break and get our coffee. Went today to pick up our online order, we do get busy at work, and we accidentally ordered to pick up at the wrong location. The manager was there today, Susie Parker, she looked it up and told me we ordered at the Carolton Hills location not the Towne Center. She said I'd have to drive there to pick it up. I told her oh no I'm sorry, I walked here and have to walk back to work , is there any way you can just make it here. She ever sooooo rudely said, no we can't but if you want you can jump back in line and order again. I proceeded to ask if I order again do I have to pay again, she said yes, I would. I want to add that when I was standing there waiting as she looked for my order and elderly woman got up and asked for a splash of half and half , a splash k , and the manager said she could give her a splash for $.50 cents. She literally had a total of 4 large iced coffees and you still going to charge her fifty cents for a splash. I get it, I'm not asking for free coffee or anything, but working in healthcare and in the customer service business. I do feel like this should have been handled differently. I even asked for a refund or a store credit and she also said no. So pretty much left with no coffee and no refund. Definitely spreading the word at work and not coming back to this place again. read more

The coffee corner has been a great spot for me to work at when I need a change of scenery or even a place to catch up with friends. I typically enjoy cold brew and one of the workers told me to try the blueberry infused cold brew. This was a game changer, I drink it on its own or add some oat milk to it. Cozy Autumn sweater season is upon us & l'm finding myself exploring the local coffee shops on my days teleworking & so excited about it! I ordered their "FUNKY MONKEY" coffee which includes mocha, coconut & banana & their WORKS medium acai bowl (includes peanut butter, granola, strawberries , & blueberries! After ordering, it came out within 5 minutes. The staff is super friendly and efficient! I honestly loved both of what I ordered. The latte was flavorful and the bowl for $10 was pretty filling!
