Came with a group - it was a perfect meeting place. Ordered a coffee with brown sugar and cream. I suggest sticking with coffee or a fancier drink. Had a breakfast sandwich without meat on croissant with was good. Love the interior and feel of the location.

A sweet & simple latte with an added cold foam. It barely survived the drive home.

This is one of my go to neighborhood coffee shops. The menu lives up to the name. The beverages are well crafted and traditional. Unnecessary flare is traded for brilliant basics. The place is clean, well decorated, and offers a shaded, semi-isolated from traffic outdoor sitting area. The baristas are always so cheerful and nice to chat with. This is one of my quaint, neighborhood staples.

    Best yogurt I've ever eaten

Came here for breakfast and coffee and was so happy I did! FOOD: Ordered avocado toast, sandwich, and yogurt. Avocado toast was good but avocado was a small quantity (more of a topping). The sandwich was okay. The yogurt was the best I've ever had. It was thick and just the right level of tart. I would come back just for this. Coffee was sooo smooth and delicious. SERVICE: pretty good AMBIANCE: relaxing, modern, clean. Would love to hang out here if I lived nearby. Lots of customers brought their dogs, which was fun.

What a cute cafe! Plenty of space to study. Their maple cream latte was amazing!! You have to try it. The cream is homemade in the store. Plenty of coffee, tea, smoothie, and boba options along with plenty of food items as well. Lovely service

I've tried a couple of different lattes from here. I've had good experiences each time, and the baristas have been super sweet. Good amount of seating inside and some outside with modern decor. It's located in a plaza so has plenty of parking.

This cozy cafe near Patrick Henry High School is a perfect place to enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea and a pastry or sandwich. They have a small selection of food but each one is made just right. There's a friendly feel to the cafe and if you need to charge a laptop there are some plug spots for you to keep the power on. The staff were friendly and service was pretty fast. ----TL;DR--- Pros: cozy, small business feel to the place. Great food and drinks! Cons: limited menu choices for food Bottom Line: great place for a light bite and drink, friendly staff and quick service. Would be back again

toasted iced coffee! wish i took a shot before i started drinking! ‍

this coffee shop in la mesa is for those who need to get down to business and tap in! HYPES: i got a toasted iced coffee & a breakfast sandwhich with a croissant as my bun. both were DELICIOUS! i asked the nice worker for recommendations and she offered hers. i was grateful! the toast on my coffee was present, but not overwhelming. and that breakfast sanwhich was incredible! loved my selections!!! i sat at a table without any outlets, which i didnt mind because i knew i couldnt stay there all day. but if i did want a seat near an outlet, i need to come by sooner! this place was packed with students and biz professionals and even a few families. the worker who helped me was warm & kind. i didnt have a problem talking with her. and she came with the smiles! loved it. GRIPES: none! this place was perf!! :)

Coffee was great. Fun vibe. Would be the perf spot to post up and work or do some studying. I haven't tried the food, but heard it's good as well! Dog friendly :)

Upon walking in, love the industrial feel with plants around the store. Great vibes. The barista was kind and helped me pick a drink. I got the honey lavender latte, hot. It was delicious, not too sweet. The flavor of lavender was subtle and not too strong. Just the way I like it. I don't like it when it's so overpowering that it'll taste like soap. But this had the right amount of everything. I got the lox bagel to munch on. You get to pick a flavor of choice so I went with jalapeno. Generous portion of the smoked salmon. Cream cheese was light and not too much. A touch citrus from the lemon, and a touch sharpness from the onions. Pretty good and standard. Great place to chill or study/work. Also lots of parking space because it's next to a grocery store.

Lovely coffee shop in San diego. The cashier was very nice , comfortable seating and my matcha lemonade was really good. My husband had a turmeric latte that wasnt overly sweet. Very yum

On my continuous journey to find great tasting decaf, I stopped over here since it was near my errands. Service was great, especially cause I had a few questions and they were patient with answering. I tried to toasted marshmallow latte and the flavoring of it was nice. I wish I would've switched to oat milk , I think it would've brought more flavors out but overall a cozy spot to come sit and meet up with people or even just for a solo date.

    Absolutely!

    Yes, for customers.

Is this somewhere you can study?

Yes. There is a lot of seating and most of the tables have an outlet nearby.

Yep! Avocado toast, acai bowls, and smoothies. They're might be more that I'm not remembering, too

Do they have keto options for food?

No vegan options at the moment.

This place doesn't have an open kitchen, is it dog friendly like a lot of other coffee shops in La Mesa?

There are nice tables and chairs outdoors, and the owners put a bowl of water out for the dogs, but the dogs can’t come sit inside with you.

The barista opened right on time (7 AM) I loved how friendly she was for it being that early, and she got me my drink within 3-4 minutes. Afterward, I was greeted by the employee and ordered a taro milk tea with honey boba. I've been to this location a few times before and have always liked the chewiness and sweetness of their boba. I figured coming right at opening would mean I'd get the freshest batch, but that wasn't the case this time. The boba was mushy and not bouncy at all. It felt like it had been sitting for a while, possibly from the night before and kept warm. Considering boba is an extra $0.75, it was disappointing and didn't feel worth the add-on. Taro milk tea ($4.59 + 0.75 for boba) The milk tea itself was standard. It tasted like a typical taro milk tea made from a powdered mix. There were still some powder clumps at the bottom, but it wasn't a huge deal. A quick stir helped, and the flavor itself was fine. Service and ambiance The employee was very kind, and the ordering process was quick and smooth. I got my drink pretty fast. I haven't played on the claw machines yet but it's pretty to look at. I never win so I don't bother. I generally order the green tea with no sugar and get lychee topping so it sweetens the tea just a little bit. My latest favorite is the Hawaiian Fruit Green Tea. The menu above doesn't give explanation nor does the kiosk really. It states a blend of Hawaiian fruits. Okay?, so this comes in XL only. Well the reason being is because they do put a lot of fruit in it. I wasn't expecting this the first time, and it was so good! I love it. The only downside to this place is that they don't have any hot tea. I was super surprised I didn't notice, probably because I usually go to the tea place down the street. Convenient location in the same plaza as Aldi's. Very small inside, most people just take the order to go. Too loud to actually stay there and work. Great place for a stop over for some great tea.
