UPDATED REVIEW (9/23/11)…read more Hello again all... I am back to report on my experience! So far, I have had four laser hair removal treatments, and they have all been as wonderful as the first. As a matter of fact after my first treatment, I extended my bikini line area to a half Brazilian and have been doing that ever since. I am already considering another additional area on the back of my neck. I have always been too self conscious to wear my hair in a ponytail because I have such a bad hairline on the back of my neck. Anyway, as for the Brazilian area, I've had NOT ONE ingrown hair since I began these treatments months ago!!!!!! I've had almost no regrowth, besides a few (really- like 8) strands of hair in random places down there- but that is normal since your hair grows in cycles. Those hairs were dormant until now, but they will get the 'zap' during my next treatment. I've also allowed a little extra time pass between appointments just to make sure there was no regrowth and there wasn't. This treatment truly works. My only suggestion is to avoid going for laser treatment within the few days before your period. Apparently your body is MUCH more sensitive then, and it may not be as comfortable. It wasn't the worst, but it was better all the other times. This was the absolute BEST decision of my life and worth every last cent. I do not have to shave anymore...ever!! My "lower-lady area" requires no maintenance now. Ladies... did you hear that?!?! Go to New York Laser and sit down with Ofra. She is very knowledgeable and her super friendly assistance Marta is well versed in this field. Tell them you read Emily's Ad!! :) Good luck!!!

I ended up getting my 11s done and around my eyes. I don't even know what around the eyes was supposed to do bc it didn't work. I overpaid by almost double based on other local med spas. So annoyed with myself. The girl at the front desk was rude and not pleasant. I left with nothing. I had a facial done the month prior by a different spa and was given a new patient bag of goodies. This place couldn't care less if I was there or not. You are just $$ walking in to them. They never offered to make a follow up appt so I never even got to go back in and have the Botox looked at to see if it worked (seriously wasted over $400 on the around the eye garbage). I'll never go back and I'll be taking my business elsewhere, where my money is appreciated. Only giving two stars because the 11s Botox worked for maybe 8 weeks.

Due to what I believe was improper operation by the provider, I started experiencing serious complications shortly after the treatment. My mouth became visibly crooked, and I could barely open my mouth properly -- even smiling normally became difficult. I was terrified and emotionally overwhelmed. I suspected that the heat from the procedure may have affected a facial nerve. The recovery process lasted nearly six months. During that time, eating, speaking, and even taking photos became stressful and emotionally draining. What disappointed me the most was not only the result itself, but the way the clinic handled the situation afterward. There was no professional explanation, no proper follow-up, and no real concern regarding the functional issues I experienced after the treatment. Because I had continued trusting their explanations, I later returned for an IPL treatment -- and unfortunately, another accident happened. This time, I was burned. After the procedure, my neck developed obvious redness, broken skin, and scabbing, resembling a thermal burn. Even now, I worry about permanent hyperpigmentation and scarring. The scariest part of medical aesthetics is not simply "bad results." It's when operators lack proper control of energy-based devices, do not fully understand facial anatomy and skin structure, and fail to take responsibility when complications occur. Many people think IPL and RF microneedling are "simple beauty treatments," but these are still high-energy procedures. When performed incorrectly, the damage can go far beyond cosmetic issues and may affect normal function and long-term recovery. I'm not writing this out of anger. I'm sharing my experience to genuinely warn others. Before doing any cosmetic procedure, please make sure: * The provider is truly qualified and experienced * They understand facial nerves and skin anatomy * They have proper aftercare and accountability if complications happen * You do not blindly trust phrases like "risk-free," "simple," or "completely safe" Medical aesthetics are not the same as basic skincare. One mistake can take months -- or even longer -- to recover from. I hope my experience can help others avoid going through the same thing.

Bathrooms not clean as they should be in a hospital setting. Tiny emergency room. When you arrive to the ER there are guards on the street checking you go into the hospital parking which is $12 an hour, meanwhile there's free parking for emergency room patients. The guard are a bunch of geniuses trying to figure how to let you in. The nurses are hit or miss as far as being good, we had a good one so shout out to Stephanie on the first floor because she was the only one that was golden, the rest dwindle between mediocre to plain done w nursing so their goal is doing the minimum. The doctors were in that same wavelength, the ER doctor was supposed to visit and when he did he wasn't that informative as to what was happening. They did a CT scan and never came back to let us know the results. The day doctor for sure didn't read the chart because was giving us different info, the chief Dr Jerwyn was despondent, condescending and leaves much to be said about bedside manner, she is truly the example of being too smart doesnt equal being right to lead. I dread to think how her staff suffers. No case worker came to give us the whole picture of whats happening so we had to piece together the puzzle. Overall it served its purpose on an emergency but long term care is not recommended.
