What happened to me here on Monday was the final straw -- and after talking to someone about it, I realized it was even worse than I first thought. I went in to make a purchase for just some hemp wraps and there was a white man ahead of me buying what looked like a tobacco or vape product. He wasn't asked for ID at all. No questions, no delay. He got his items and left. When it was my turn, the same employee, who has seen me before and already carded me on prior visits, suddenly decided to ask for my ID again. At first, I didn't think too much of it. But when I told someone about the situation later, they immediately said, "That sounds like racial bias." And honestly? They were right. I'm clearly in my mid 20s. I've shopped here before. There was absolutely no reason to treat me differently except that I'm Black. I would give a negative 5 to this stores night shift employee such a d head and a hole all the time excuse my rudeness but he deserves it I have been coming here for last 2 months spending $80 to $100 each time , my device stopped working on the 4 th day for some unknown reason and the night shift guy wouldn't exchange or refund saying there is a 24 hrs exchange policy. So this was my first time here. I'm new to this whole vape contraption that my son gave me. I have been just using the pens. So I call ahead and give Marcus my budget and he says he can help. I drive over there and to be honest he didn't seem extremely knowledgeable about the device I had nor could he answer some of the questions I had. I literally had to call my son and have him tell the guy what I was asking for was ok to use in my MOD. I even asked if the nicotine was more expensive and he said yes so I opted for non nicotine and he told me it was the same price. I'm like huh? I had to ask him the same question multiple times slowly just to get to him understand what I was asking so he could give me the right answer. To be honest I probably won't come back unless another employee that knows this business is here. Nothing bad against Marcus personally, he was very nice,.it's just that he didn't seem to know enough to help a newbie. Update I found out he sold me the wrong juice for my MOD and it burned my coil! He sold me salt juice and for my MOD I can only use E juice... He should've known this so I basically wasted $30. I had to buy another coil and the right kind of juice. Update I spoke to the manager Don and we stettled on an agreement and he told me to come by Saturday (7/31) telling me he's there till 10pm and he's fix it...drove all the way down there only to run into Marcus again and Don isn't there! So not only is Marcus useless but Don can't be counted on either. I wish I knew who the owner is.. I would love to have a chat with them. DO NOT LET MARCUS HELP YOU! HE HAS NO CLUE WHAT HE IS DOING! They sell fake products AND THEY KNOW IT. CLOWN manager "banned" me from their store for trying to get my money back for a vape product WE BOTH AGREED WAS FAKE. We tested the verification code on the box while in store and when we found out they were duds he TRIED to still make me to pay for it since it was open instead of apologizing for selling synthetics. On top of that, he left all the space max bars which HE (the actual manager) told me he was already aware all of their products were fake. As the store was getting more busy and ppl started walking in, he said he would "pay for it.." and to "not come back to the store" as a means of mitigating the situation but really just didn't want people knowing the scam they're running. On multiple occasions my vapes have stopped working within the first day and at one point I had to try literally 5 vapes in front of the worker at the store because none of them were working. Today I went into the vape store to let them know that my vape was not working from day one. unaware that they only have a 24 hour policy, I asked if I could have it replaced and the man behind the register rudely cut me off to tell me I was out of the warranty time frame. For a company that always fails to have functioning products, you guys need to change your policy!
