To be honest, I was super skeptical in the beginning. I wanted my car cleaned inside and out and I didn't know if a car wash warranted that kinda price tag. I gave Ryan a call first to ask him a few questions and he was extremely friendly and professional - so I felt comfortable moving forward. Unfortunately, the first day that we booked, the weather was not cooperating. He made the trip, but it started raining while he was working, so he told me that he would re-schedule (my garage wasn't big enough for him to work in) and not charge me anything for the trip. Considering he willingly lost out on gas money and his effort for that day, I was surprised. Rescheduling was simple and painless, we picked out a day that worked for both of us. I wasn't going to be home that day since I had to work, but I left the key for him and he took care of everything. He was honestly great. He took care of everything and left the key with my mother-in-law. He was even gracious enough to let me know that he found $100 in the car and put it in my cupholder for me (I had no idea that I even had money in the car). Also, I have to mention... the car was absolutely filthy. I was given the car from my father-in-law and there was stuff EVERYWHERE. Take-out menus, dust, grime. Some places were sticky. He got all of the stuff out of the cracks, cleaned out the carpets completely, and it felt like new again. Also, the seatbelt presenter fell off - my father-in-law said that it would probably cost a few thousand for Mercedes to repair it, but Ryan took care of it without me even asking. I didn't even realize that he'd be able to do it. Great communication, great work, trustworthy, professional... what more can you ask for? It's worth every penny! Simply awesome. Created a Yelp account just to give this guy the review that he deserves. A family car we inherited hadn't been cleaned in 10 years. We left him with it on the roof of our parking garage. I was anxious about turning over keys to a stranger but he seemed very focused on the job & was in touch all day. It took about 7 hours for him to do it (and it was only a little VW Rabbit). He said it was the worst car he'd ever seen (various sweet but reckless teenagers & dogs had been abusing it for years), but after he was done, it looked practically brand new. The interior -- center panels, dash, upholstery -- is also an entirely different color than the charred gray we'd grown used to. Also, it was just clean-clean, with no harsh chemical odors. It's honesty something of a miracle. Definitely recommend. Also, they responded swiftly to our rate request while other places took a whole day or wanted to see the car first, which, with our schedules, wasn't possible. read more

Vapor does motorcycles too! Brought in my BMR R1200R for a full wash and detailing and they did a great job at making my bike look like it rolled off the showroom floor. Wow ... just wow! Ryan did an absolutely amazing job on getting my car cleaned up really thoroughly. It's been in need of a good wash and vacuum (mostly just due to dirt on the exterior and dust and dog fur on the interior), but having had little to no time to do it ourselves, hubby and I decided to hire Ryan to do it based on all the glowing reviews here on Yelp. It all started one morning when I was going to work and ended spilling milk and cereal all over the floor and seat of my car, I was so upset I literally wanted to cry over spilt milk (I didn't tho). Very glad I came to Ryan to get my car detailed. He's enthusiastic about his job and cars in general, and I trust him with my car 100%. While he was working on my car, he sent regular updates and was willing to even drop my keys off at my apartment on the 8th floor when I wasn't home when he finished. What an incredible experience. We hired Ryan to detail our car before we sell it so we really needed a thorough job. Ryan was right on time, including giving us a heads up when he was on his way with an estimated arrival time (5 minutes before the appointment time). He spent over five hours on our car and when we returned, the car looked better than when we bought it from the dealership four years ago. He buffed out so many scratches and made the outside shine while the inside looks beautifully clean. He parked his van in a no parking spot in front of a synagogue. I share this to give you a sense of the high quality person Ryan is: he turned his van around so that the sound of the generator from his van went into the street instead of towards the place of worship (this was a Saturday morning, so lots of people were going in and out of the synagogue). This was truly beyond what we had hoped for - this is only my second Yelp review but I feel compelled to leave a note for Ryan so others know what a gem they'll get you hire him.
