I need one more Silverfish for a sidequest and for around 3 months now I've just not been able to catch one. I know you can only catch one from a yellow fish icon, but I get Golden Fish and Platinum Fish every single time. Seriously, I have probably spend like two hours fishing in total and I caught around 40 Golden Fish and 20 Platinum Fish and not a single Silverfish. Even during mating season events where you can get up to four fish at once I wasn't able to get a single Silverfish... Am I doing something wrong? Is my game glitched? I can't believe this is just me being unlucky, it has to be something else. Edit: Well... The first fish I caught after making this post is a Silverfish... Great, only took me 2 hours. Have you tried using lower quality bait or only catching blue ones? I use all bait in my inventory and then soft reset when I don't get anything, so yeah, I've used the lowest ranked bait.
