I used to love this practice. Been with them from the old building to the new one. Love Dr. Gannon…read moreand Dr. Hwang as well as Dr. Liwanag. My husband goes here and now my father. However, the level of commitment to their patients have gone down significantly. I read all of the yelp reviews on here and although I never personally experience rudeness from the front office staff, I've seen it happen to other patients in front of me while waiting for my appointment. One time, this one patient got so fed up, she was leaving and then came back again and asked the receptionist if she had a problem with her because the receptionist was greeting patients so rudely and condescendingly, I couldn't believe it. A few months ago, I came for a uti check up, and the Nurse practitioner name Rebecca Ringwood, came in and told me I had a uti and need to be on antibiotics. I vented my frustrations to her that this is a recurring problem and I didn't know what to do anymore. She raised her eyebrows and didn't say anything, therefore, leaving me to believe she didn't give two craps about her patients. I've seen her before in the past and I remember she tested my urine and said I had a uti but when it was sent to be cultured my urine was clear. So I took antibiotics for nothing for a whole week because she did not bother calling me back with the final results. Another incident is when my husband and I recently went on a trip to North Carolina and he had a gout flare up. He called the office to get a prescription sent to the pharmacist down there. He was in a lot of pain all day and after the fourth call, it finally got done when he shouted at one of the receptionist. The third and final straw for me was today, when I called to make an appt for a follow up Pap smear because the last one was abnormal. The receptionist cooly told me that they only do physicals with that and I told her dr Liwanag told me to follow up in July. I explained that to her and I requested to be seen by dr Gannon for the follow up pap only to be told she isn't accepting new patients. I told the receptionist I am not a new patient. She puts me on hold and told me a nurse will call me back because they are not taking appts for follow up paps, which makes no sense to me. I have a feeling I won't be getting a call as that has happened in the past. Also, when I had my last pap done, I had to call several times before I finally got my results back because each time they told me they would call me back with the results and never did. I love the doctors but the front office staff is very unorganized, which is enough for me to look for a new practice elsewhere, my husband included. Every time I call in the morning, I can never get a hold of anyone. And when I finally do get a hold of someone in the afternoon, it is always the same response, "someone will call you back." I cannot gamble my health with a unorganized staff and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Regarding the care, if you see the FNP Patel, you're in amazing hands. She's very caring, attentive, and enjoys hearing out the patients. If you see Dr. Varma, you're also in amazing hands, but don't expect excellent bedside manner. That's my (personal) gripe, but he's a very intelligent and competent internal medicine doctor, running a clean and solid practice. Again, if you want some to hear you out and empathize, go with the FNP. If you're in to get the facts and don't waste time, go to the Dr. Whichever you chose, you're in good hands!

Switched providers, after one appointment, that "nothing" was an indication of a life changing autoimmune disease and now I'm seeing a specialist for it. If you ask to speak to an office manager they will claim they don't have one. Lost my husband's sleep study results and didn't even try to look for them. Just said, well you have contact the company we use and have a new one done. They just want your money and have no interest in providing quality care. Can't leave a message online for your care provider, if you call to leave one they will just tell you that you have to make an appointment. If I could give zero stars I would.

Her personality is genuine, humble, friendly and professional. We never feel rushed, she listens, she's understanding and is very transparent with medication side effects etc. She will inform you what is "best" for your child's health / treatment and she'll discuss the pros and cons as well. She's very thorough in her evaluations and I personally think that's priceless. Many doctors nowadays are always in a rush and seem to be arrogant but "NOT" Dr. Candace Fugate!!! If you're looking for a great doctor for your child look no further Dr. Fugate is it! She's the best. Additionally the office and exam rooms are very clean. And staff is friendly. Please note: At times the 'front desk individuals' can seem overwhelmed but that's understandable because of the volume of phone-calls they tend to and the process of checking in & out patients. The front line at a medical office handles multiple duties and tasks please always have that in mind and genuinely put yourself in their shoes.

They only approved 2 weeks and it's something I take every day and will need to take every day from now on. When I called the Pharmacy to get the refill, they told me on Monday that there are no refills approved so they would call the MD for a refill. On Tuesday it still was not filled on Wednesday I called the MD office and they told me they called it in and it should be filled that day so I went there that night to pick up but they did not have the order and said again they need the MD to refill with an order. The next morning, Thursday, I called the MD office and they told me they just got the order from the Pharmacy and "my provider was not in the office so another provider has to ok the refill" which still had not been done! They seem to have so many patients that they cannot take care of the ones they have. The receptionist made all kinds of excuses and said she would have the MD call me which never has happened. I still don't have the Rx I need! They are pathetic.

Will I pass the physical because of my diabetes? Could I? Should I?, Would I? The questions abound. More to the point, what really annoy me is losing a $100 bucks of I don't pass my Dot Physical. I still have time, so I am not worried. Still I would like to get this done in one fell swoop. The business here was busy when I walked in at 10:33am. Now the room is clearing out. Well, some time went by and I ended up going through the motions of my Dot Physical. The eye sight was successful. My urinalysis test was up there but passed. However, upon seeing I take insulin, I was automatically disqualified from getting my Dot-Card. I was told I can do a waiver, but need the proper forms and a doctor's note to get a sign off for my Dot-Card. During this uncomfortable time, I don't remember if I said I don't operate a CDL. Nevertheless, I realized I put I take insulin. It got me thinking I shouldn't have mentioned I take insulin. I did mention it, I would have aquired my Dot Card and this headache would cease to exist. Nevertheless, I went through the motions I as told about from one of the doctors. I will continue this in the DMV Review in Sterling Virginia. In the end, my actual physical was never done because the doctors were more focused on my insulin intakes. It also doesn't matter, because like learned I automatically was disqualified. I lost the $100 bucks and I am annoyed.
