Both my neurology docs, my primary and pain specialist either moved or retired. I was so relieved to find Dr. PORTER. One of few docs even knowing or caring about my disease. His staff, his nurses and entire office are great and helpful. Ive absolutely NO complaints...except one. Taking in mind the rarity and progression of my disease its paramount the plan of care is consistent without guessing. Over the past 3 months I've seen not one but three different Nurse Practitioners. Each of them are more than qualified in their fields Im sure. It just leaves me confused as treatment plans change with each new visit. This is absolutely not a negative only my state of mind at seeing different Nurses. I give the office, staff and doctor %. For a few months his small waiting room was packed but it didn't take long for people to figure out that Dr.Porter IS NOT a "candy doctor" and if they didn't have an MRI, CAT scan or other means of proving that their pain was REAL, I'm sure that he would tell them something like "take 2 aspirin & call me in the morning" I realized many years ago that I will NEVER be pain free. However thanks to Dr.Porter I am able to live alone & keep my place, both inside & outside in order. I do have to ask for help if I have to move something heavy but at 75 I am SO THANKFUL for being able to live alone & take care of myself, my home & my boy's. They are a 15 pound Poodle, a 7 pound Maltese poodle & a cat that's the biggest. I love it when all 3 of them cuddle up with me on "our" recliner!! All of the above is only possible because of Dr.Porter!!!

I also asked the doctor to sign my Florida Covid Vaccine paperwork as my primary care doctor is in NJ, but he wouldn't. I've had cortisone, and gel injections but nothing is helping with the pain. The doctor does not prescribe anything to help with the pain, so now I wait for my insurance to see if they feel an MRI may show what's going on. Today I waited 45 minutes for the doctor to come in, and that was for a 1pm appointment, which I didn't expect since they close 12-1pm for a lunch break. Who knows what is next.

I feel like we won the lottery when finding Dr Jaramillo! I called the main number and Katrina scheduled an appointment, thankfully, in just a few days. The first appointment was at the Davenport office. It is really convenient from the west side of Orlando. Dana checked us in and within about 15 minutes we were back in a treatment room. The awesome Wendy arrived shortly thereafter. She is extremely efficient and knowledgeable. Wendy took the x-rays and did some digital imaging of Grace's feet. The technology was quite fascinating. Wendy listened patiently as Grace described all of her challenges with her right foot. We are so grateful for Wendy's help. She is an extremely knowledgeable nurse and has a fun, helpful personality! Dr. Jaramillo came in a few minutes later and explained everything she had found so far. The best part... she truly listened and went the extra mile to run a bone scan. (We found out last week that the bone scan shows a stress fracture. That explains a lot of issues over the years.) Dr Jaramillo really takes the time to listen to patients. She has excellent bedside manner combined with being exceptionally brilliant. We are so thankful for all the great people at Central Florida Foot and Ankle, but wow, Dr Jaramillo and Wendy are truly outstanding!

Two of the doctors said that my toe needed to be amputated, but after Dr. Maria reviewed my case, she told me about the PRP treatment options and that she should be able to save my toe and foot. Two of the doctors attempted to schedule me for amputation, and Dr. Maria stepped in to save my foot. After several PRP treatments, I'm happy to report that I'm no longer on a knee scooter, and my foot is doing great. I have a job where I'm on my feet from 8-14 hrs a day, and have no issues. I'm now a regular patient of Dr. Maria's, and just have routine wellness check ups. Had it not been for the care and skills of Dr. Maria, I would have lost my foot, and my job. I owe a big THANK YOU to Dr. Maria and her staff for the quality care I received during my treatments as well as my office visits. He started off in another location down the road and then shifted up here to right behind the hospital. This location is more convenient and I've actually been seeing doctors in this building off and on for almost 10 years. I come here because I am diabetic and have diabetic neuropathy in my feet and legs. Since things have been getting better with my diabetes this is more routine just to make sure that I don't have any problems. The staff here knows me when they see me and everyone is very friendly. The doctor has a great manner with patients and I would definitely recommend him for anyone with a foot issue. I like the fact that I'm in and out quickly and my appointments always happen close to if not right at the scheduled time.
