The only two claims I have ever had with Arbella were two homeowner claims in the last three years (for $16k ice dam damage in 2015 and $7k for damage from a pinhole leak in a copper pipe) but this was enough for them to decide (at first) not to renew my policy. After posting this review on Yelp! I received a phone call from Bearingstar Insurance, agent for Arbella. They have now offered to renew my policy and I have accepted their offer. I am grateful for their follow-up to my complaint on social media, although it would have been even better had they listened the first time when I called them up after receiving my notice of non-renewal. I have therefore raised my rating to three stars and thank Megan (who commented on this review) for her assistance in this matter.

So now, not only did I lose an $8k vehicle they've stuck me with a $2600 rental car bill. I asked to be contacted by a supervisor because David was NO Help. He just ghosted me not once but 2 times! I wouldn't use this insurance company. Considering I could have died. I was lucky to not get injured but we were both going about 40miles an hour for an almost head on collision. If I could give him 0 stars I would…read more I moved to MA from California and Bobby was happy to take my full years payment for car insurance. However, after being provided with my complete driving history (which is less than stellar) and giving me a quote for a year, which I paid in full, I was notified less than 6 months later that I owed more than triple what the original quote was because my rate had increased. I have not had any incidents. Since this has happened (in August.. it's now December) I have called him probably at least 20 times. Emailed him at least 5 times. No response. Unless he's dead, there's no excuse. Upon calling the company, they told me they had no record of my incidents and they have on record that I started my driving career in 2012 (I started driving in 2006 and gave him my drivers license number from back then in a different state!). The company claims he needs to be responsible for refunding me and adjusting my history since the customer service people don't have licenses and another agent isn't able to alter what another agent has done. So since he wont respond to me, I'm currently uninsured and out an extra $900 that was stolen from me by his wrongdoing to keep my insurance for an extra month! Additionally, I got my car inspected per his instructions but I emailed him and snail mailed the inspection forms and I never received my stickers from him either so they have my on record as not being inspected.
