The gentleman at the counter was nice. We were excited to get real Mexican food and went because of the 4-1/2 stars. The restaurant was clean and the food came out quickly. I sent my huevos rancheros back because the eggs were burnt. They came back the same as the first time. They were not edible. My husband had the chili relleno and he said it was good. My daughter had sopas that could not be cut with the plastic cutlery we had to eat with. So disappointing. read more

There shrimp tacos are some of the best food I've have ever had. Great service and environment

I was actually told about this place by a friend of mine who is Mexican American and we went to lunch together with his work crew from Bingham county. To me an authentic Mexican restaurant needs at least 2 things. 1. Mexican customers and employees. 2. A signature hot sauce. And this place has both and plenty of both. I have fallen on LOVE with their Fish tacos; they are probably the best that I've ever had in a real long time, crunchy fish, plenty of coleslaw. Their prices are perfect nice sized portions. Sorry I did not take any pictures though. They have changed now due to Covid19 to being only takeout and that's fine too. So please support them to be able to stay in business during these trying times so I can keep ordering their delicious Fish Tacos!! read more

Fast and yummy food. Got a quesadilla and was huge and so good. Others got burritos and they were also massive and tasty. We stopped late and didn't know it was almost closing time but regardless so nice and their swiftness was shocking when we saw they were closing. When we arrived a bunch of officers were leaving and supper friendly telling us how good this place is. Excellent! The food here is very very good. We stopped here to enjoy breakfast with our friends. The menu is full of many choices for breakfast and lunch. We ordered 3 breakfast burritos and 1 heuvos ranchcaros. Everything came to our table hot and delicious. We each had horchata to drink and it, too was great! The serving size is gigantic so sharing would be easy to do or do like us and get a Togo box. read more

What a find! If this was local, we'd eat here once a week. The food is amazingly healthy tasting and flavorful. Our standard Chile rellenos plate was a cut above. Totally fresh pepper, no brine flavor, melted cheese and minimal coating - not overly eggy. I mean we order this dish every where, and this is about as good as it gets. I ordered Mulitas. They're hard to find - even in LA. Kind of like a quesadilla made with two corn tortillas - and these tortillas definitely hand made like right then and there for the dish. They generally come with meat, but the guy made for me vegetarian - melted cheese, refried beans, chopped cabbage, cilantro, guacamole sauce- and they dressed the plate with fresh lime. Clean attractive interior to eat inside or outside covered patio area. Quiet ambiance in the afternoon. Order at counter, then they bring food to your chosen table. Simply great! read more

On our way to Montana from Los Angeles. Stopped for gas & dinner. Hand made tortillas, great beans & combo plates. Possibly the best authentic food I'll have in the north. Highly recommend this south of the border flavors. Hand made corn & flower tortillas. Priced right. Salsas are authentic. It's a bit off the highway past all the fast food but worth the extra 3 minutes to get here. I had taco enchilada combo. We had dinner for 2 for $20bucks. read more

Some of the best and most authentic Mexican food I've had in Southeastern Idaho. I lived in San Diego, CA only 30 minutes North of the Mexico border. They have the best Mexican food by far, except Mexico itself of course. This place comes close to the food down there. Very impressed. read more

One visit shouldn't dictate whether a restaurant is good or not, but one visit is all this one gets. Fish tacos we ordered, shrimp tacos we got, but what the heck, mistakes can be made. Shrimp was cooked properly--that is, had they been seasoned. And I'm not sure an overly generous dose of monterrey jack cheese on shrimp make for an "authentic" dish--but I don't come from mexico, so what would I know? Plastic utensils, well, make for some sort of ambience, you judge. But the service! Never had such a pouty server, not to mention she forgot our beer, then midway through the meal, reminded, did pour it but failed to bring it, then was unfriendly when we didn't want it as we went to leave. The tortillas were homemade, but came in a sheet too big to manage. We'll leave this place to others. read more
