Super fresh and yummy international food it is also super good to ho and have non guilty deserts :)

My family spent a few days in Cancun, and as is our tradition, we visited as many vegan and vegetarian restaurants as possible. This was by far the best one we tried in Cancun. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the place is very clean, and best of all the food is excellent. Everything is made fresh on the premises, and they use NO canned ingredients whatsoever. Everything is made fresh (not sure whether the is made fresh, but it was excellent nevertheless). The dishes we tried included the vegan queso, which was excellent, made from ground nuts of some sort, not quite like store-bought vegan queso, but addictively good. I had the alfredo pasta dish. Admittedly, I was a little hesitant to try an Italian dish made by a Mexican restaurant, but it was actually quite good. Very creamy sauce, and really well done. We also tried a burrito (very good), a few of the juices (also very good) and lastly, a couple desserts, the chocolate cake, which was outstanding and incredibly rich, and the cheesecake, which was one of the best vegan cheesecakes I've ever tried anywhere, and I think it was raw, so even better. If you are there, ask for the owner, who used to live in the U.S., and apparently used to work for Don Imus. The owner decided to move to Cancun and open this restaurant, and wants to create a chain, including in the U.S. I sure hope he does, as I'd be one of the first in line. All in all, if you are in Cancun, and you are looking for a vegan restaurant, and you only have time for one, this is the place to go to. We tried one other vegetarian restaurant, and it wasn't nearly as good, by a long shot. As I mentioned in my tag line, this restaurant is excellent, even by New York City standards. As a person coming from afar ( Toronto, Canada) I gotta say...this place beats a lot of vegan cafes in my hometown. Definitely will come back here when I visit Cancun again! A vegan friend took me here for lunch and I asked to come back the next day. Burritos were amazing and the cheesecake was something actually better than real cheesecake. The chef is a world-class guy who is passionate about his menu and cooking style. He's older than me but I mistook him for a 25 year old kid. If you want a healthy bite to eat check this place out. Don't let the decor or less than exciting location fool you. Best food in Cancun other than the Mercado. read more

My family of 2 adults, 2 teens, and 1 child ate here for 2 dinners. The portabello burger, enchiladas mole, texadillas, nachos, cinnamon roll were great. Enchiladas with beans had little flavor. The juices were yummy. One teen is raw and ate here 5 nights. The waitress was nice. The last night the 2 teens got SICK.... we think it was the juice but who knows. The natural spray sunscreen did not work. 1 teen got the worst sunburn because she relied solely on that sunscreen... read more

Went there on a trip to cancun and it was one of the highlights of my trip! Some of the best vegan food I've ever had, and that is coming from someone who has eaten at the best in California and NYC. Get the piña colada, quinoa salad, cheesecakes and the hummus!! Everything is amazing and the owner is genius. Highly recommend I'm also not a vegan, just enjoy healthy, fresh food! !! read more

This place is unbelievably good. I almost hate listing it as a vegan restaurant, or a gluten-free restaurant, because then omnivores are less likely to find it--and it is a gem worth finding. The chef is a California-trained Mexican national who has created a diverse menu of Mexican and international cuisines without using any animal products whatsoever. The food is flavorful, colorful, healthy, and beautifully presented. Many of the dishes are gluten-free. The waiter, when I asked what was "most delicious," recommended the Alfredo pasta. I cringed inside, because I detest gluten-free, particularly gluten-free attempts at pasta and breads. But I decided to take his word for it--and OMG, I am so glad I did. It was the standout dish. Other things we had: two creative, light smoothies with several fruits I'd never heard of; a chipotle "cheese" dip with tortillas; chilaquiles, and an (also gluten-free, recommended by the chef/owner) "triple chocolate" cake, which was *insane.* We couldn't finish half of it, and ate it the next day for a satisfying lunch. In other words: huge dinner for two, plus satisfying lunch for two, and the entire thing set us back ABOUT $50 USD, including tip! I'm the type of person who will happily spend well over a hundred dollars a person on a great meal. Even by those standards, this place ranks as my second-favorite restaurant in the world. (The first is Next in Chicago--which only had a vegan menu once, and probably never will again.) This place is so good, it's worth a trip to Cancun just to go. If you are staying in the hotel zone, you'll need a car, or a $200MX cab ride (about $15), or take a bus. It's worth the effort to get there. read more

We came from the hotel district on a bus dropped us off way too soon. We found we could've walked in from the Walmart area. So we were very hot by the time we arrived and wondered if we made a mistake by coming so far to a restaurant been recommended by another restaurant owner. It was a modern interior restaurant, with pleasant signs and air-conditioning. It was 4 o'clock in the afternoon and quite full. Certainly appeared popular. Watched other people's food come out and it looked delicious. I wanted to chickpea burger and it came out with potatoes were delicious and had funneling them in the burger was exceptional. Lots of sauces, not spicy-as I preferred. My husband had a dinner of mushrooms and vegetables with potatoes. He was very pleased with what he ate. Mine came with a homemade lemonade tasted delicious. We ordered a chocolate shake that was made of cashew milk. I thought it was then and tasted like a chocolate soda. I did not prefer it, but my husband loved it. We will probably go here several times throughout our vacation. To return to the hotel zone, a bus almost in front of the restaurant. Back to our hotel in 15 minutes. read more

Excellent food. Good ambiance. We had the tortilla soup, enchiladas with mole and the sopas between the two of us. Portions are large and we have some food for later today. Very reasonably priced. A cab can get you to the restaurant and cabs are very cheap. So, go try it out. If you are a vegan or vegetarian you'll be ecstatic. If you are an omnivore, you'll still be happy and your insides will be thrilled to take a break and have something healthy go through them! read more
