"If you can't tone it, tan it." This line is my entire explanation for why I purchased a Groupon for spray tans. There's only so much I can do in the gym and with diet, and looking stark-white just oddly makes me feel larger and flabbier than know I actually am. And yes, we live on the surface of the sun, but no one wants skin cancer, hence the indoor methods. Got a 3 pack of tans and my first visit was a learning experience but as my visits have progressed, I've come to the conclusion that it's not me, it's the tan booth that is problematic- the spray is irregular and not well calibrated. Certain areas of my body (chest, left leg) are significantly darker than others even when following directions exactly. There are consistently white spots in the same places (upper back, right calf). Most frustrating, my tan doesn't last, because it melts off of me whenever I work out- I follow directions to avoid water/sweating for 4-6 hours, but this happens even up to 2 full days after I tan. Friends who are spray tan fans say this shouldn't be happening. Another criticism is their hours are limited with late opening (noon) and fairly early closing (7pm) that renders me unable to come by after my workday following a workout. That said, the same friendly gal is staffing every time I've popped in, and she's helpful and patient. They have a range of products for sale in the front lobby and I appreciate that I didn't feel pressured to purchase. I'll be checking out other spray tan options in the area for better consistency and evenness of color. read more

I bought a Groupon for one spray tan, I show up at the tanning salon, and the guy at the front desk tells me that they no longer honor Groupon coupons " because they were losing too much money with the coupons" and they are under new management which means they no longer accept the coupons so a $15 tan turned into a $45 tan, at least management, or whoever the older gentleman, at the front desk, Could've honored the coupon that I had. Instead, he wanted to get smart with me and tell me he didn't own the fucking salon, and I would have to pay AGAIN... This place is a fucking joke. Do not go here. I bought a Groupon package for this place. Came in and was told I owe them five dollars for the taxes. Fine. -- Edit-- Nevada sales tax is 4.6%. Groupon pays out businesses no more than 50% of the amount paid by the customer, which would be $15.00. Tax on that is .69 NOT $4.99 (see receipt). This is a tax scam. It is illegal charge customers an inflated bogus "tax." SCAM ALERT. ----- Then was told I need to buy their protective eyewear. Seriously? Every other salon I've ever been to provided that for their customers but fine. They recommended I do the standup bed which I tried but zero color. I came in to do my second of three tans and was told my package had expired two weeks ago. She then proceeded to try to sell me a new package. WTF? Every other time I've bought a package at a salon it doesn't have an expiration date. She printed the receipt and showed me where it stated the 30 day expiration. Why the hell would I look at the receipt for that? She also claims to have told me that when I came in the first time but I absolutely would have remembered because I would never use 3 tans in 30 days. I go about once every two months. I was expecting a courtesy extension for at least one of the remaining tans but nope, just an offer to sell me another package. As it stands I paid about 50 bucks total for an eight minute tan with no results. I do not recommend this place due to the fine print additional cost and ridiculous limitations. I absolutely love this place. Not only is it clean, the people who work here are absolutely amazing. Every single time I go in, it's the owner of the salon. Super "mom and Pop" feel and the pops is always working the front desk. I love this place also because the owner of the salon is so proud of his daughters artwork. She recently painted a octopus mural on the wall and I think it's absolutely adorable how proud of her she is. The prices are super affordable as well compared to other tanning salon franchises. I pay $40 a month for unlimited daily tans for the standing of booths, and it's only $50 a month for every single machine. That's literally a steal! read more

Update: The ownership just changed to a new owner named Rick and his daughter Kaitlyn. They're both great friendly people that make the experience very comfortable and worthwhile. They also changed it to month to month memberships instead of a year and for me personally the price went half off for red light therapy since that's all I do there! It's been years since I've bought a spray tan but the occasion arose and I chose this place based on prices and reviews. The gentleman at the front desk is so kind, helpful and patient. He went over every package option and suggested lotions and accessories. I didn't feel pressured at all, and I chose a 3 spray tan package good for 30 days. I chose medium for the color and it came out beautifully. I'm a ginger so any color at all is an improvement but this tan was rich in brown color, not the least bit orange. I love it! If you want an unpretentious friendly tanning experience, give this place a shot! read more

If you work 9 to 5, this place isn't for you. It's only open from noon to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. That's worse than bank hours! Closed on Sunday and basically every holiday. I was unable to find a phone number that a person answers. The 800 number (odd for a local business) is just a recording that says to come in person or email. I emailed yesterday because I'm not sure if my package expired. I haven't received an answer. The beds are decent. You have to bring your own eyewear or purchase it from the salon. read more

In all honesty the tanning salon is mediocre. Please understand you get what you pay for, so I did not expect Palm Beach. I had given this place a shot using a Groupon deal for $40. You can't beat $40 for 1 month. The hours are absolutely horrible, especially for working individuals- even on the weekends when you may possibly have a more flexible schedule. The high level bed I used worked a couple times then had been out of commission since (may possibly fixed now). When laying in the bed there's a slight buzzing sound that might make you feel a bit uncomfortable. Bathroom has no hot water. Facility is not as clean as I would hope, but it's okay. As I said before, you can't expect too much. So, if you are okay with some slight disappointments- then give it a shot. Everyone's experience is different. read more

I purchased a groupon for 1 month unlimited red light therapy for Vegas Sun Tan. I have to say this place is awesome! The manager John was very helpful in explaining the benefits of each bed they have and even gave me a complimentary session in one of their UV beds to see if I could see the benefit of the combination UV and red light therapy. Natalie is always very pleasant and accommodating with anything you might need and was great at explaining the differences between the many lotions/accelerators they have there. The pricing for their packages is extremely reasonable. I am noticing definite results from the red light therapy and have only been going daily for 2 weeks now. The store is very clean as well as each of the tanning rooms and beds. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

UPDATE: I went back and tried the upright tanner after getting heat rash on my shoulders as a result of the contact. On one particular day, while a gentleman was working, the upright bed was very popular and told me it would be about a 10 minute wait. That was no problem. But when the girl left the bed, the guy stepped in, added a terry cloth to the hooks for me and told me to go on in. He cleaned NOTHING. Not the handles, not the floor. For my next trip, the woman took the extra time to clean machine prior to opening it back up to me...but I am more skeptical of cleanliness here now, than previously. This is my FIRST EVER tanning experience. I needed to get a base tan, fast and found a Groupon for Unlimited Tanning for a month. This location is just minutes from my home, making it super convenient to pop in every day! The women I spoke to was very friendly (although a rather quiet talker) and walked me through the different types of beds and what to expect. She recommended the UV-3 bed and also offered advice for how long I should stay in the bed as a First Time Tanner. I only did 5 minutes (of the max 10) the first 2 days and then upped my time to 6 minutes on the third. Unfortunately, that was too long and I burned - I also got some weird horizontal striations across my butt, like blood blisters. Although they disappeared within 24 hours, it was very disconcerting. I skipped a day and dropped my time back down to 5 minutes for my 4th session and didn't have an issue. Each room is equip with a 5 minute timer, giving you time to change out of your clothes but you can press the "Start" button early, if you don't need as much time (I usually don't!) The beds some with 3 fans, a head cushion and a towel, which I usually place over my face. They also offer a higher intensity UV bed, an upright tanner and Red Light Therapy, which I would be interested to try once my Groupon expires. While they are open 7 days a week, it is unfortunate that they don't open until noon. Even so, the location is clean and quiet and I've never had to wait for a bed. It takes me longer to drive there than I actually spend inside! read more

Buyer beware. If you bought a Groupon from here they will charge you extra for "taxes" when you redeem. This is the ONLY establishment that I have been to that has done that after buying a Groupon. Besides paying extra, the hours are horrible, equipment is old and it is run down and dirty. After my Groupon is over I definitely won't be returning. I decided to go in for an airbrush spray tan, I called in and made an appointment. Ashley was very knowledgeable about the services and was very helpful. She even picked out the perfect airbrush color to go with my skin tone without looking "orange". My airbrush lasted about 2 weeks! I was very pleased. I really wanted to like this place because it is so close to my home . I came here a total of 3 times to sign up for 12 month plan at 68 ( not completely sure$)for the level 4 beds. The first visit I inquired about the 12 month program with them. The girl was not very informative but she was nice . I asked her tp give me the paper work so I can take it home and fill it out . Second visit I waited 10 mins while the women at the front desk was talking to another women . I couldn't wait longer because I had to go to work . This place sucks! The beds are filthy! I always had to clean them before getting in. Look up! The top of the beds have never been cleaned. The floors are dirty. I got suckered into a membership, that I cancelled after one month. I went in, in person to cancel. I was told I couldn't cancel like that. I had to send an email. I got charged a cancellation fee, which I told them not to automatically pull from my account, as I would have came in and paid. And, actually, I did go in to pay. But they pulled it anyway!
