Hands down best tanning experience I've ever had! The whole studio is beautiful! You walk in and you feel calm, it smells amazing, and the aesthetic is top notch. You're greeted with your choice of beverage. I did the $85 custom spray tan and wow!!! They give you your own locker room. There is a locker whether you put your belongings and take the key with you. There is also a heated robe and sandals there waiting for you to put on before you go get your tan. The studio also provides hair ties and disposable underwear if you choose. You then go to the waiting room where your spa attend comes to grab you. The facial cleanse and the hand and foot massage with the barrier cream are top notch. Everyone who works there is very nice they explained everything to us and made us feel very comfortable. We were offered champagne to start-Yes please, then we went to the changing room they offer a very tiny cover ups for the bottom and the top. After getting into my warm robe we went into another room. The lady in there wiped our faces/hands/feet while giving us a massage. Then on to the spray tan. The lady who does the spray tans asks what color you are trying to achieve then custom mixes it for you. I said dark because it does fad but not Jersey dark . I am very happy with the results. I'm officially ruined. How will I ever get a "normal" spray tan again after this experience?! If I could give 10 stars I would!!! I can't wait for the green valley location to open up closer to me, but for now, this was worth the drive out to Summerlin. It's located upstairs in Downtown Summerlin, by the lawn. Even before you get there and when you book your appointment online, they send you instructions of what you should do 24 hours before your appointment. Seriously so much thought into this! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I figured why not try this out! I had a work trip coming up so I booked the appointment and treated myself. Upon arriving, I was greeted immediately by the host. She was super nice and got me checked in. I was then taken to a waiting nook where she offered me champagne. OF COURSE I had to accept! Wow!!! The royal treatment. I was then asked to answer some questions on an ipad, which basically was asking what tone I wanted and if I wanted music playing while I got my spray tan. How fun! After that, I was taken to the changing room where they give you a luxurious robe to change into, slippers and even throw-away underwear if you need. They also give you a bag to put all your clothes in so you can take that with you to the next room. They've seriously thought of everything! After that, I was instructed to go to another room where I was able to get a really nice facial. They have add-ons and I couldn't resist so I got some blue light therapy. The girl that did mine was sooo nice. I felt so relaxed. Wow. It was amazing. After that it was time for my spray tan! I've never been sprayed by a person before. Mostly I just use the machines or I do it myself at home. She was SO nice! The color came out absolutely amazing!! She also told me to make sure I washed it off in 3 hours and gave me really good instructions with it! My tan looked SO good and lasted for an entire week before it started to fade. Wow, shoutout to Instagram for the most impeccable targeted ad. The weather has been nice in Vegas lately and it had me nostalgic for summer, and a tan. I decided to check out Summer House Tan, which recently opened in Downtown Summerlin. I have to start by saying the service was 10/10. From the check-in process to the pre-tan spa in the Garden Room, everyone was so welcoming and experienced. Shoutout to Kari for being so kind and accommodating! It was my first time getting a spray tan and the spray tan expert, Angel, did a great job educating me on the shades as well as proper aftercare. Upon initial entry, you're met with an associate who helps you select your shade and enhancement (each session comes with one), as well as the vibes aka the music you want to listen to. The greeting includes a glass of champagne or green juice. You're welcomed into a changing room with warm robes and lockers for your belongings. Before the spray tan, you receive a relaxing facial massage with hydrating eye patches, while your hands and feet are prepped. The spray tan itself took about 15 minutes. The appointment altogether was roughly 45 minutes. They have a good deal for first-timers with discounted rates on their memberships as well as 20% off any products purchased during your first visit. Although I'm sure the Summerlin location is just as fabulous. Today was my second time getting a tan. The first time I went I got the Signature Tan. Today I opted to get the Premium Tan. Both experiences were sooo good. First of all the employees are all SO SWEET. From the ladies at the front desk check in to the prep and massage to the tan. Everyone you are all the nicest people ever. I forgot the names of the girls I had the first time I went but today I had Chelsea and Angel. Y'all including the front desk were amazing. This is the perfect place to get pampered. You get to meet the nicest people, have some champagne, get a facial, hand and foot massage, red light therapy (if you get the premium), and of course get a spray tan! I am not the typical tanning customer and Summer House was my first experience with custom spray tans - it was a great experience but not something I would do as a regular thing. Definitely seems like the best option in town for the luxe level service, something girly girls would enjoy trying - if they have gift cards, this would make a great "experience" to gift a friend. Make an appointment online, my tech was Haley and she was great. Location is upstairs in Downtown Summerlin, park by the "lawn" area facing the freeway and take the escalator up. Location is beachy and nicely decorated, great vibe here - and SO many customization options, from the level and scent of your tan to the playlist during your visit and optional add-on services. Sign in via iPad to make your selections and head down the hall to your "bungalow" - complete with a fluffy robe to change into. Your tan is prefaced by a complimentary beverage in their lounge area, then a mini facial and massage. Your tan is a custom spray from a live person, so you'll undress to your comfort level (like a massage) and they'll have you change position a few times to customize the contouring of your tan to best flatter your body. I was nervous about this part (naked yoga with a spray gun? lol not my thing) but staff were professional and friendly and made it as comfortable as they could. I liked my tan and it lasted a few days - they do provide tips and info on prep and maintenance to help it last longer. I did like that I had less fading and color transfer compared to my few other tanning experiences. Visits are roughly $70, but they do have discounts and promos for first time visitors (up to half off). They have monthly VIP packages for a certain number of visits for those who want to come in for a luxury-level tanning and self care service. They do also offer sugaring services for hair removal. I might return for another visit to get a healthy glow before my upcoming wedding but for me it was more of a fun one-time experience than something I'd do regularly - but I can definitely see why people are fans! read more

The minute I exited Summer House, I wanted to give them a perfect rating. I felt so pampered, luxurious and spoiled. But I wanted to see how my spray tan lasted before writing them a non-biased review. My spray tan lasted a good week before it started fading. But it is a natural fade. My body does not look like a cheetah...nothing splotchy here. Keep in mind, it probably will fade sooner if you were in chlorine or in the ocean. But you can tell this is some good quality stuff they're using. I booked their latest appointment on a Monday, 5:15p I believe. I spoke with Kari, the owner, as she explained what inspired her to open Summer House. With every spray tan, you get a light facial as well as a quick hand and foot massage. WOW! Talk about service! My esthetician was gentle and my spray tanner got every nook & cranny of my body. At the end of the tan, she even dusted me off with some powder on crevasses that are prone to sweat more like the crook of your arm, your cleavage or the back of your knees. Wish I remembered their names because I would totally ask for them again on my next appointment. Your spray tan is completely customizable. There's four level of shades. I was in between golden (level 2) or bronze (level 3) and Kari suggested I try golden first as it's best to start light and then go darker instead of vice versa. She suggestion was PERFECT. Because the color came out gorgeous! I looked toned and tanned!!!!!! *insert Beyonce's Feelin Myself song here* You also get to request what kind of scent you would like. I chose something tropical and I was sniffing my arm the rest of the evening! It smelled so good and you definitely don't get that typical after-tan scent. This experience is a total 'treat yourself' moment. I enjoyed it so much I immediately bought a monthly membership. It's $65.00 (one single session is $75.00) and you get one spray per month. This is the best spray tanning experience I've ever had! Gorgeous color, no weird runny areas or darkness on foot and hand areas. I've had so many spray tans in the past and nothing compares to Summer House tans. I did a trial before my wedding and I'm so glad I did. The wedding tan was perfect. The negatives: I had to wait fifteen minutes past my appointment time to be seen, was sold an add on mask and red light therapy mask that ended up only being on me for five minutes while I got the worst "massage" of my life. Shrugged it off because I was really there for the spray tan. I asked for the rapid tan and she said I could rinse it off in 3 hours and it would be ok. I rinsed it off after 3.5 hours, and realized it had barely even tanned me. The lines from my underwear were barely showing because I wasn't much different in color at all. The experience is just Wow! Not your typical tanning experience. As you enter you're greeted warmly and checked in for your appointment. They take you around the corner to fill out your questionnaire on your personal experience. Broken down starting with the tan shade, smell of tanning solution, music as you're getting sprayed, and more. They offer you a complimentary beverage to kick it off. As you're taken to the back they get you settled in your room, with new robes and slippers, and a locker. Then they take you for your facial and massage. To be honest a nice strong pressure would've been nice, and a little more time with this. But to have it being offered was very relaxing. The aesthetics to the place was spot on. Dimly lit, with a dark green wall decor. Comfortable chairs as you're being pampered. Before your tan they put you in front of a red light, which is super beneficial for your skin. Then you dress down and get sprayed. It was my first time ever getting a tan but felt very comfortable. You do feel a little sticky after but I felt beautifully bronzed! I washed after the 6 hour mark and they give you after care instructions to follow, for the best results. I'm seriously so surprised and can't wait to go back. Members receive a spa like experience with your tan. You start off with a very customized experience, even down to choosing your favorite music genre. They offer you a delicious alcoholic or non alcoholic beverage as you wait. Then you are led to a locker room that has adorable little bags to store your items and then to their spa like chairs where they pamper you with a hand and foot massage to apply lotion in order to prevent the dreaded "fake tan hands" that can come from not being properly moisturized. You are also able to purchase different upgrades at this point like mini facial treatments and such. Then you are brought back to the tanning room where you are able to use their full body red light therapy and use their fantastic warmed up robes. They are very detailed oriented with the tan application and I love that they can fully customize your color so you don't end up looking unnatural. You can choose the intensity of the shade as well as if the tone is more warm, cool, or neutral. 10/10 recommend! Went to Summer House for the first time today & have nothing but good things to say! The owner, Carrie, was so nice & walked me through the entire process. The design of this little place is awesome! Enjoyed some iced tea in the waiting area before be taken back to my bungalow to change in my Robe. Haley was my esthetician and she gave me a great mini facial & hand and foot massage. I didn't understand the face massage, they seemed pretty annoyed that it was part of the service and it just felt rushed. Made me uncomfortable. Too much money for the quality of the tan. The hard upsell at the end ruined the entire experience. I just expected so much more because of the reviews and the beautiful location.
