VPS Rocks! (Out-of-State Purchase) I've been searching Autotrader, craigslist and Facebook marketplace for a couple months now looking for another heavy duty vehicle for my newly started business. I've never used a auto broker before and was skeptical this would go smoothly as I usually try to have friends or family check vehicles out for me but we all know how that can be. I found VPS on Yelp and after doing some research by visiting his website along with the many reviews on Google/Yelp I decided to take the plunge. I contacted Dave via text late on a Saturday and was texted back that same night. He ask for a link to the vehicle I was interested then without asking pulled the Carfax of the truck and showed that it had been in a minor accident. We discussed more and I decided I was serious and ready to make the purchase. Dave swiftly took over and made an appointment with the seller, scheduled a basic vehicle inspection that included a diagnostic check as well as 10-20 photos of the body and undercarriage including a short video of the engine idling that I specifically requested. I then proceeded to negotiate a price with the seller that we eventually locked in. I was able to send the funds directly and securely witch gave me added piece of mind. Dave met with the seller got all the paperwork taken cared of (notary, title, bill of sale, etc) as well scheduled/coordinated a new windshield replacement that the seller agreed to take care of prior to selling me the vehicle. Lastly Dave was able to clean, prepare and store the vehicle safely till we could schedule shipping to me. Dave went above and beyond my expectations! He was willing to help with whatever was needed. Reliable, friendly, vehicle knowledgeable and great communication. This was the smoothest out of state purchase I have ever done. I will definitely use vehicle purchasing service in the future. Short story: Dave is the man. Longer story: This was the first time I've used his services and I will absolutely be using him again. I had the pleasure of working with Dave to help me purchase a lightly used Audi S4. The challenge for us was shipping the car from the dealer in Scottsdale Arizona to where I live in New Jersey. Dave helped me coordinate with the dealer, took the car for pre purchase inspection, personally wrapped the car in protective film for the 2400 mile journey, and was present to make sure the car was picked up by the shipping company. Above and beyond doesn't describe it. Dave treated the transaction as if it were his personal car. My only regret is that I do not think I will be purchasing too many vehicles in Arizona in the near future, meaning I probably won't get another chance to work with Dave again. I was in the market for a bigger vehicle. I recently had a baby and needed to find a safe, reliable SUV. I settled on one after looking at a few and when I asked the dealer if I could have a 3rd party pre-inspection they were more than happy to accommodate. I searched on yelp and found Dave. David is worth every penny and then some. He found the car lease I wanted, negotiated a great price, and had great advice on warranty issues. Then he sold my Honda Accord for me. He really shined there. He got it detailed and repaired at prices I never would have gotten. He did the ad, met with all the potential buyers, negotiated the sale, and did the paperwork. Most importantly, he saved me many hours of time that I used to work and earn money. Could I have done what he did? Sure, but I'd have paid more for my lease, gotten less for my Honda, and made less money at work. From a basic economics perspective, it's a real no-brainer. He's also likable and easy to work with.
