My whole life ( I'm 78) was medication free so I was surprised to say the least. To make a long story short after several tests including a stress test, Dr. Bhusri said my heart is working well and I don't need either of the medications but to increase my walking to 10,000 steps a day and lose some weight which I've started on since the visit. Perhaps it was because I was the last patient of the day and he had the time, but this was the first time in a very long time, if any, that I have felt really heard by a doctor. I am dealing with a few health concerns that other doctors have dismissed or minimized, and at no point did he do that or make me feel any type of way for expressing my concerns. I am so beyond grateful that a friend referred me to this practice. I have a few other appointments scheduled with specialists in their practice, and I really feel like this will be a huge upgrade for me in my health moving forward!

So when I saw this place was only 2-stars, I was very weary about coming here, but chose to give it a shot because I wasn't finding anything else better. Overall, I am happy I came here so far, and have had a good experience. The office itself is nothing special at all. I did expect a nicer facility given its on the UES, but it didn't really effect my visit. The receptionist was very very nice and accommodating. I had a 6:30 appointment and they took me right away, I didn't have to wait besides filling out my forms. I saw Dr. Kimberly Dy and she was very nice and I felt comfortable. I hadn't been to a primary care doctor for about 2.5/3 years so I was a little nervous, but everything went well. I have been having weird headaches and she addressed that, and made me feel reassured and offered me good suggestions on how to help them. I also had low vitamin D, and low iron levels in the past, so she tested me for that and a gamete of other things. They use Klara as their portal for messaging and they were very quick to post my lab results and when I asked a question, they replied back quick as well, which is really nice. So far I am happy with this practice and I will be going back.

I decided to book a consultation since I used to get Botox in my masseter (great treatment for TMJ!). They were able to squeeze me in and on the day of my appointment I filled out some paperwork and was on my way to meet with Nadia. Nadia was honest but not pushy whatsoever. She explained how the whole face works together so by putting Botox in my jaw again it would also affect other parts of my face. Overall, she gave me a facial anatomy lesson in 20 minutes. Since we had time I decided to have her perform my treatment right then and there. She was quick, it wasn't painful at all, and I was in and out in under an hour. The prices are fair and they do not try to push you to do anything you're not comfortable doing. My jaw feels great since my treatment and I have the added perk of no more lines in parts of my face.

It seemed like a bait and switch to have me come in just to tell me this. So, though the staff was very nice, I would rather not have my face permanently damaged by something they've caused. Additionally, they overcharged my credit card by $50 and won't refund it. They say I can only use it as a credit - which seems like theft? I explained that I had never received the preparation instructions for the test. Rather than trying to help or find a solution, she immediately focused on telling me that I had opened the patient portal more than 10 days ago. I've never been to a medical office that sends critical test instructions so far in advance of the appointment and assumes patients will remember to go back and review them days later. A simple reminder closer to the appointment would have prevented this situation. Instead of showing empathy or working with me to resolve the issue, she raised her voice, repeatedly told me to "take accountability," and handled the interaction in an extremely confrontational and unprofessional manner. I felt like I was being scolded rather than helped. The entire exchange was unnecessarily uncomfortable and stressful. Customer service, especially in healthcare, should be centered on professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving. Unfortunately, I experienced none of those qualities here. The interaction left me feeling so uncomfortable that I no longer feel safe or confident having my SIBO test performed at this location. I hope the practice invests in customer service and conflict resolution training for its front desk staff, because no patient should be treated this way.

At least at laseraway they give you packets of these things, bandage material, aren't stingy about it and can help apply before you go. The doctor was very non-informative and didn't run any test or consider I might need antibiotics. I bought neosporin and the bandages from Amazon but this was a waste of time and a copay for me. I won't be back and I suggest they rebrand with cosmetics in mind.
