Took my Jetski to get an oil viscosity code to be erased (all I wanted and asked for). Needless to say the technician messed up my harness by pulling on the wire not removing the clip (because he didn't want to remove the throttle body which takes 10 minutes). They told me it needed a new harness over 1000 or ecu another 1100. I went there and fixed their mistake in 15 minutes and they cleared the code after I demanded it be done. Took it to the water multiple times, problem fixed! It took two weeks (to just clear a code) and I lost the interested buyer and chunk of summer! I cannot remove the one star, so that's what they get!!! Caution, they will create a false bill for you! read more

Worthless, I haven't been there in more than 10 years and never purchased a thing from them. Now they must be desperate for customers because I get emails from them. I bought my first dirt bike here (last year) and think I got a good deal on it. I've had both my bike and an ATV serviced here and they did a great job. I managed to bend my front rotor on my bike but they got me up and running again. My ATV kept stalling out after about an hour of riding, but it always started right up before prior to that. They were able to figure out the issue and it's been running flawlessly ever since. They are honest and have always treated me right and I think they're gear is reasonably priced. read more

used air tools on my axle and stripped it out and the mechanic denied it when I was there and saw him do it they replaced the axle after I went to the manager, also my mirror broke and I used jb welded it and the mechanic know it and kept tightening it and loosening it and I said i wouldn't keep doing that, all of a sudden we loosened it and made a quick snap and broke it right off I was so pissed and they ended up giving me a new one for free, very bad company, and just by moving don't change that read more

I must be invisible. (although I can assure you my money is not) It seems that this dealer, like others I have visited, best strategy is to ignore people looking in the showroom. I wandered around for about 15 minutes and was not approached, spoken to, or acknowledged. And I remember a few years ago visiting and that was not the case. I had a couple questions about the Africa Twin but no one to ask. Needed to see if they had a part. Parts guy chatting on the phone, looking disinterested. Warning...do not let these people service your motorcycle. Driving lights were installed incorrectly on my motorcycle and shorted out the entire electrical system. The owner, with the "Beatles" haircut, is rude and doesn't respect his customers. He does not stand behind the work that is done at his shop. Stay away from Velocity Cycles. read more

Absolutely horrible service. My bike broke down on the Carlisle pike right in front of this place and I thought "how convenient." I couldn't have been more wrong. I assumed because the service was decent when buying my helmet and jacket there a couple months prior, my bike would be back in no time. Absolutely not, it's been 4 weeks and I still haven't gotten my bike back. I was told the job would be done over a week ago and I never got a call so I go in and they serve me with paperwork. All i needed was my carb fixed but instead they decided to tack on new tires which I have never said a word about. After that I was told the job would be done May 18. It is now the 20th and I was just on the phone with the owner and after asking about the status of my bike he asks, "can I get back to my paperwork?" What a joke, these people have no class and do not value customer service at all. read more

Oh were to begin. So owning Honda atv's all my life and living in the country there was a lot of places to have them serviced. 2 years ago I took my Daughter in top buy a helmet and had such a great experience I thought, boy if any of our machines need serviced this was the place. Wrong!!!! I took her 2001 Honda TRX250 in because it wouldn't run and leaked fuel out of the carb. After explaining to Wes that what need looked at he was more concerned with the break cable that was tight and the tire that had a small leak. So my machine sits for 2 weeks and I get a call. Nothing was wrong with the carb. just need cleaned real well. The air cleaner needed replaced oh and by the way your battery is bad and we fixed the break cable. Its done and ready to go. So out of 1item I ask them to look at they decided to go over the entire machine. I pick it up for $417.00 and bring it home 52 miles away. I go to unload it and it won't start. I adjust the carb to get it to run and notice that on the bed of my truck there's a small wet spot which appears to be fuel so I unload it and park it in my shed with a coffee can underneath the overflow to the carb. 1 week later I walk back to my shed and find that the coffee can that was empty now has around 2" of fuel in it that leaked out and the machine only starts after messing with the throttle. Back to velocity we go. Another 2 weeks go by and I get a phone call "Hey we figured out you need a carb. No kidding, Oh and by the way its going to cost $283.00. Are you kidding? after lots of bickering back and forth they agree to give me $117.00 off + and extra $30 for my fuel to run and get it. So i'm not happy but satisfied. Yesterday, I go and pick up the machine, oh we have outside you can load. I go to start it and oh no it won't start. Finally get it started and it won't run. lol you have to be kidding me. Back inside we go. Here comes the tech. he starts it using the chock which I did as well and tells me its just cold. Ok, why don't we run it, so he does. Guess what, it won't idle once you left off the fuel. So back to the shop for a carb. adjustment. Finally I get the machine loaded and head home. Needless to say I won't ever take anything back Velocity for service. read more

Ok so I am riding in a rain storm to Ohio. And my front wheel bearing decides to break. Yes exactly, could have been fatal had I not pulled over and called the nearest BMW dealer. Which happen to be Velocity cycles in Mechanicsburg, PA. Well it was my lucky day because the 'recovery vehicle' driver was 15 minutes away. He (Vaughn sp)came and picked me up. Mindy (the service manager and Vaughn's wife) was there when I arrived. She was very helpful. Mindy was able to get my bike in and get a diagnoses quickly on my bike. Bad part for me was that the parts had to be ordered and over nighted the next day. Ok no problem. I stay the night. Next morning I go there and the technicians have already started working on my bike before 'store hours'. Within 20 hours Velocity had my problem solved and me on the road. I cannot say enough good things about Velocity. One more thing. Dopey me dropped my bike key where I pulled over. So when Vaughn and I arrive at the shop no one can find the key. (they have a strict policy of leaving the key in the ignition just for this reason) Well Vaughn was nice enough to go back to where I pulled over and find my bike key. BTW I had pulled the key from the bike b/c I was making sure I had track of it. But when your bike breaks down, regular routines can break down. Bottom line is this, if you need or want service on your bike, Velocity cycles is a great place to get it done. I'd go back in a heart beat. read more

Charged me for center stand that was already on bike at listed price (admitted forgetting to add it to the tag) and would not come down from list price on bike used in the demo line up with 243 miles on it. Salesman got me 10% off the center stand at least. Salesman are nice and work with you. Owner is not. Would not purchase there again. read more

Took A Yamaha YFZ450R to this shop after they stated they will do whatever they need to do to diagnose why it would not stay running , dropped it off on a Friday and had to call on Wednesday to see what was going on, they proceeded to tell me the EXACT same thing that we told them when dropping the ATV off , they still could not tell us why it was not working properly but wanted to charge us $94.00 to do absolutely nothing . The lady at the service desk wanted to argue back and forth about what she said and supposedly what she didn't say. Horrible experience and they had no idea what they were doing . read more
