I recently found Dr after searching forever online for a new primary. First phone call the office…read moremanager scheduled me right away. The first time Meeting Dr Linder I felt like he just got straight down to the point and found out what the problem was. He also was very diligent about really digging into my medical to find other problems I was having. I have to say I am absolutely impressed with him and his whole office. Professional, clean, on top of things. I really appreciate them especially when I got sick last minute and they snuck me in the same day! Bless them! Today was the saddest day for me as I found out Dr Linder is retiring! Ugh what a sad day for me. Just found someone I really trust and he's leaving :( Thank Dr Linder and staff for everything. I will miss you dearly

Dr Linder has been a top practitioner since I've moved to this area about 3+ years ago. He's…read morecordial, thorough & attentive. The last time I saw a doctor doing his patient's vitals, blood pressure, drawing blood for lab testing, it was on an 80's TV show. Having hit the trifecta (but not in a good way) when it comes to chronic health concerns, it's rare, but sometimes a challenge & a half to keep/honor appointments with him. At times, I'm already admitted in hospital for something else dire, juggling clashing appointments or lacking the ability to function at all. Case in point, I just got a letter from his office today, advising that since I refused to secure a follow up appointment he's refusing to treat me in future. My care provider's attention to detail is second to none, but we "dropped the ball" unintentionally somehow. I've been extremely fortunate to be insured & have been treated by great doctors; he's no exception. I'll make sure to resolve this matter next week. The good ones don't grow on trees. The only minus is that his office isn't set up for a email account; otherwise, I'd contact him today. Small price to pay.

To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am writing this message with a sincere and heartfelt plea for your attention and support. I've been a patient at your Imperial Beach clinic for some time, though I had stopped attending for a while. The reason was the constant turnover of doctors and the inconsistency in care. Each time I called, I was assigned to someone new--sometimes even someone in a different state. It became incredibly disheartening, and I felt like just another number in a system that prioritized volume over quality care. But despite my hesitation, I decided to give the clinic one last chance--and I'm so grateful that I did. That's when I met Dr. Chin. From the very first appointment, he demonstrated a level of care, attentiveness, and compassion that I had been missing. He listens, he understands, and he never rushes. Unlike past experiences where appointments felt like an assembly line, Dr. Chin takes his time and truly sees his patients as people--not just cases. Today, even while visibly unwell, Dr. Chin showed up to work. His dedication moved me deeply. It's not often you encounter a provider so committed to their patients, and it inspired me--not just to keep coming back, but to take my health seriously again. When you have a doctor who genuinely understands you and your diagnosis, it makes all the difference. I don't know who will read this, but I truly hope it reaches someone in a position to recognize what a rare and invaluable asset Dr. Chin is. He deserves to be acknowledged, supported, and appreciated for the incredible work he does. Please--if there's anything you can do to support or reward Dr. Chin, I implore you to do so. Patients like me are better off because of him, and I know I'm not alone in feeling this way. With sincere gratitude, Miguel Angel Martinez II

I'm honestly disappointed with how much this place has changed. We returned to IBHC after switching…read moreinsurance, and from the very beginning the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. When I called to make the appointment, I was on hold for 45 minutes. On the day of the appointment, we arrived 15 minutes early for intake, but were told we had to wait to check in because staff were helping another patient enroll in Medi-Cal. We then waited another 35 minutes just to be checked in -- after already arriving early -- only to continue waiting 20 minutes (again) to be called back. The provider who saw my son explained that he was an ER doctor, it was his first day, and that he was not a pediatrician, so we would need to schedule a follow-up appointment. This was not a same day appointment....this was a scheduled appointment that we waited for and I took off work and pulled him out of school (costing us money we do not have). Why we were seen by someone who couldn't even perform this task, I do not know. We scheduled that follow-up before leaving and they even called to confirm it with me the next day. Today, I left work early (again, costing us money) to bring my son in, only to be told by the front desk that the appointment had been canceled one minute after it was originally entered into the system. If that's true, how was I able to confirm it the following day? At every step, it felt like there was little to no respect for our time. I rarely leave negative reviews (In fact, my only negative review), but this experience was so disorganized and frustrating that I feel others should be aware. Healthcare is already time-consuming and expensive enough without having to deal with this level of miscommunication and lack of professionalism.
