Dr. Smilie showed up to the office over 40 minutes late and then proceeded to take another patient into surgery. As a result I sat in the back room naked for 2.5 hours. Not only that but they told me my procedure was minor. The minor surgery took off a huge football piece of skin on one side. I wasn't completely numb for the procedure ana felt the first cut. It took an hour to perform and i was awake the whole time. My surgery did turn out great after recovering but I don't think I would pick them again.

I ask if they can fit me in anytime soon because I've been dealing with chronic migraines for 6 years and if they cancelled the appointment I would think they'd try to fit you in the absolute next possible time. Every follow up I went with my husband and Dr. Talesnik continue to say is normal and it's the lidocaine. I ended up with a 104 fever and called him and said it was probably covid. When I arrived to the ER I was rushed right away and was asked if I went out of the country because I was botched. I said no, and gave them told them it was Dr. Taleisnik who performed it and is across the street. He came to the ER was so rude to everyone in the hospital and had the nerve to tell us and my nurse that he was working for free, which I have PPO and not to mention I payed him in cash $15k, for the procedure. They sat my husband down and while I was screaming due to the pain and crying. Doctors told my husband that I have a severe sepsis, and can lead to death. I had to get and emergency surgery and be reopened on the same area he performed for my thigh lift. He was rude to the nurses and my husband when off on him in a professional way and informed him he has no right to treat the medical staff that way but my life is in danger because of him. The OR team did t know what procedure they we're doing g on me and we're in shock of how unprofessional he was. I was so scared I was going to die. After surgery, I had to be given blood transfusion daily. The surgery was so painful and had to receive home care because he left me completely open. I fired him as my doctor for the hospital and seen another doctor. Doctor was in shock of what he did. It was the worse 5 months of my life. I couldn't walk and my husband was my caregiver. If I don't wear a bra then it hurts like I'm carrying a rock in my left breast. I don't know what to do, but try to see if my doctor will take them out as an emergency.
