Venice is no longer called venice anymore.The new name is chickies pizza,suiting the cape breton vibe,the staff are very down to earth people who like to crack a joke and be a bit saucy. Much ike thier food you can expect it to have that raw cape breton feel,it's simple food, cooked right!
It was late and everywhere just closed at 9:00pm.Craving fish I was out of luck.I wanted fresh cooked fish,no garbage sulphite preservatives in my alaskan pollock served at as a seafood sandwich at the needs, and no old canned tuna from the subway.I was at loss as the grocery store closed at 10:00pm an the walk takes an hour.I decided that I would try other places.A&w?Nope,they have no fish on the menu anymore!Talo?Nope!Kitchen closed at 9:00pm.I figuired I would have to bite the bulet and get Wrongway...then I realised chickies juuuust might got the stuff.They did!not only were they friendly and in good humour but they gave me a discount,two extra pieces of fish and a bottle of water!IMAGINE!I was stoked when they said they had some extra!Lemme tell ya!best customer service ever!definably recommend this place!It may look rough,but where looks are not,character and good food are!Never judge a book by it's cover. read more
