(It's great to have the choice) It started with the cacao sourdough with whipped strawberry butter. I had no hint of the cacao but it was still delicious. I had the squash ravioli as my appetizer. I would have eaten that as a main. I loved it. Honestly the best part of the meal for me. Add this place to your must go to. My main was seared salmon with lobster cream. I found the salmon a tad more done than I'd prefer but perfect if you like it well done. I took my dessert home with me. I have since eaten it and there was a saltiness I found as a turn off. The cherry chocolate torte otherwise was small but tasty. My partner had the turkey dinner. He thoroughly enjoyed it and finished every morsel.

Our waitress was proactively providing us sharing plates and utensils and kept us notified on the food order status without us asking. Every single dish here was also delicious. Expect $80-$100 per person for dinner. The dishes we've tried include: - Scallop crudo: very fresh and refreshing. Everyone in the group loves it. - Seafood chowder: Flavouring and ingredients are both decent. - Lobster roll with summer salad: One of our favorite dishes. Fresh and sweet lobster mingled really well with the refreshing salad with sweet strawberries and walnuts. - Lobster dinner with steak: decent portion and premium cut of the steak. - Grilled salmon: Not bad but not wowing. - Seafood linguine: Very decent portion of seafood and very flavourful. - Chocolate raspberry cake and creme brulee: Classy way of cooking. Or plan ahead, and before you ever get near Cape Breton Island, stock up on provisions. Be warned, if approaching from Routes 104 and 105 from the west, no supermarkets are visible from the highway beyond roughly Antigonish or so. Maybe there's one in Port Hawkesbury or so? Good luck.
