Venora Electric came to my home this morning for an emergency service, after half of the house power kept going out and the breaker had to be reset. Venora Electric has been fast and reliable for several small jobs we have had them do on our home but they ghosted us on a larger job this summer despite my weekly calls to Rebecca. Wish they had just been upfront and said they weren't interested in doing the job instead of me wasting a month, making weekly phone calls to them and waiting for the job to get scheduled when apparently they had no intentions of ever doing the job. Great work and I am completely satisfied. I got estimates from a couple of electricians for an upgrade plus misc work and most were in the same price range. Tim Venora mentioned he had done the work in the attic when he came out for the estimate so I thought I would go with someone who had worked in the house (and did good work from what saw). The crew that worked in our home were great - low key, very polite and meticulous about their work. The upgrade was fixed price and the misc work came in over estimate - higher labor, lower materials - but it did not come as a surprise to me as the team let me know when something was going to be more difficult than it looked. From the person who answers the phone to the men who came to my home, they were courteous, prompt, knowledgeable, flexible and helpful in every way I could have asked. The people who show up for the job are great. The problem is getting someone to show up. I had Tim out to quote a job in April. I had to call to finally get an estimate. The job was scheduled early July. They cancelled 2 days before the date Tim was sorry and would get back to me with a reschedule. Again I had to follow up in early August. Still no one has gotten back to me. Venora is not worth the effort. read more

Having received no return calls from electricians on Angie's List, I contacted Vendora Electric. I received an appointment for the next day scheduled between 12 and 1, only because I wasn't available same day. Tim Venora was in my driveway by 12:02. He was here just about 1/2 hour or so and discovered the problem was outside with Ever source. He went the extra mile and contacted them for me, telling them what the problem appeared to be. Ever source came later in the day and replaced not only the wire to my house but found the wire from the pole to my house was also bad. I am now whole. I would highly recommend Venora Electric to anyone looking for an electrician. It felt so good not to be taken advantage of or be poorly treated. Mark me a 20 on a scale of 1-10. I have had them do work in my other houses. Excellent no problems and the prices are very reasonable. Free quotes also, which is so much nicer than having the electrician arrive only to give you a quote you do not like or can not afford. Good People!! I am having them over again soon. read more
