Two drops of glue in 10 minutes later it was back on. At the same time they charged me hundreds of dollars to do it. New orthodontist bought the place a couple months ago. Someone should tell this idiot when you buy the name you also buy the warranty of everyone that that name has taken money from. Cheapskate is not the guy you want putting braces on your family and that is exactly what this guy has. I'd go anywhere else since how there are so many orthodontists in Longmont. Having a mouthful of overcrowded teeth for most of my life, I had already endured a great deal of gum health issues - some of my own making, but many due to the severe overcrowding. Over the course of 9 months, I interviewed with 2 other local orthodontists and although they were both great (each made sure to tell me how great they were) and I was confident that they would have done a wonderful job taking care of my teeth, I was still hesitant. Thankfully, as the old saying goes, third time's the charm. I made my way to Longmont Braces and before I even left the initial consult with Dr. Stephanie Ross, I knew that she would be the one I would entrust with my braces journey. She is confident and extremely intelligent, but without an ounce of pretension in her explanations or presence. I have witnessed her demeanor with patients of all ages, from young children to elderly, and have always been so impressed with her laid back approach. In addition, behind every great doctor is the team, and what an awesome team they are! From the moment my treatment started, I have been amazed by how this group works so closely together and makes each visit comfortable and pleasant even under circumstances that may not predispose you to that sort of experience. My mouth work just ended and the results are fantastic, just fantastic!! So I can tell you from extended experience that her service is excellent on all points. We particularly appreciated her knowledge, skill, and always taking the time to explain what's happening and listening to our concerns/questions throughout the entire process. Her staff is highly skilled, attentive, and compassionate (I have very sensitive teeth). The office experience is perfect including a nicely decorated entry, a wonderful receptionist, and a well organized approach to providing her services. I got a retainer for my lower teeth so they wouldn't move and Invisalign for my upper teeth to move them into a better position. The staff there is very friendly and easy to communicate with. However, I had…read moreone tooth recently cause so much pain I had no choice and Longmont Modern Dentistry squeezed me in. They extracted the tooth with extreme difficulty--I have exceptionally strong bone and the thing would not come out. The dentist worked on the extraction for 2 to 3 hours, and even though the initial cost was to be 1850 with a free bone graft of 820 thrown in, they ended up charging me $1234. While the extraction was somewhat painful since lidocaine isn't terribly effective on me, I feel so much better today even with a tender jaw. I'm going to have them fix the rest of my mouth because they worked so hard to do good work and keep my costs down, which is everything to a disabled man of 75.

Bottom teeth: I had a bottom tooth that got infected and I opted for an extraction. I was making it a point to not look at the numbing needle so I wouldn't get nauseous. After not waiting long enough after the numbing gel, he goes "Now this is my insurance policy!" and holds the shot infront of my face while laying on the chair. I winced and closed my eyes, he never apologized. He was heavy handed through the whole procedure, it was hard to keep my jaw slightly open. The stitches and bone graft failed (I did go boarding a few days after but I took it easy and didnt fall - the first thing he asked was if I fell during my follow up when i mentioned it failed!?!). Ive had an extraction before and this ones taking about twice as long to heal than my other one. Top teeth: He gave me two crowns. I have never been so upside-down in a dental chair. He was extremely heavy handed again to the point where, according to him, "There was so much blood.". I have fairly good oral hygiene and dont normally bleed. A couple days later my back tooth was aching. I ended up needing two root canals thru the crowns due to him not being sterile enough. I was swishing with warm salt water at home. The infection was under the crowns. (He told me to call him so if I needed a root canal, even the specialists had a bit of a tough time with my roots so I cant imagine how botched it wouldve been with Ganeev Mattu.) Other: When checking tooth sensitivity he laid the air on HARD and didnt "warm" the tooth back up after - completely put me in unnecessary pain for this test. He's awkward with his assistants. It all felt rushed. I feel like my teeth and mouth have been violated.

I'm currently seeing dr wong in preparation for what could be life-changing surgery, so you could say my life is literally in his hands (and his assistants). Thus far my impression is that he's very knowledgeable and experienced. He's also worked with many pre-surgery patients and came highly referred from my dentist.

They also tried to get me to agree to a $4,000 treatment plan for procedures I neither wanted nor needed. (The next year, I got my teeth cleaned elsewhere for $79.) I won't be going back to Crossroads. And I'm sorry to say that, because of their numerous miscommunications and billing mismanagement, I cannot recommend them.
