The whole process from check in to check out was a breeze and I don't mean quick. She is thorough. From the minute I gave the front desk his name they immediately started to talk to him as though he was the patient (because even though he's only 5, he still is!) and genuinely cared to hear his responses. I loved the decor and the branding. As a Creative myself i can tell she really took the time to utilize her branding as an EXPERIENCE. Upon check in they gave him a basket to carry throughout the whole process. They gave him tokens at each "event" like after he got his Xrays taken... and the after cleaning... so that he would be able to purchase something toward the end of his visit. LOVE THIS. It kept him engaged and worked hard to pay attention and cooperate through the visit (THANK YOUUU) From the X-ray tech treating him as though he was at Disneyland (no joke about that) to their mascot taking a snooze right next to us... to the canoe chairs they lay in... to the TVs they can watch while getting their teeth cleaned... I mean I could seriously go on!! Fast forward a decade. My youngest daughter is in need of some major dental work. I had initially taken her to a local pediatric dentist just out of convenience. What a mistake. They all but traumatized her. Today she saw Dr. Tandi. Despite my daughter's fear, they made her feel safe and welcomed. By the end of the visit she didn't want to leave. She was laughing, joking and loving every minute of her visit. She even asked when she could go back and visit, "the doctor and her monkey(stuffed animal)." I am incredibly protective of my children. My kids have been going here since it was Little Britches and it has only become better since Dr. Jennifer Rubin took over the practice. She has a very calm manner and I love the way she talks directly to my kids to explain to them what she is doing during an exam. It is fun (there are clouds hanging from the ceiling) and the space has big windows all around, so a sunny beautiful light filters into the rooms. The chairs are pink, there are games in the lobby, and there are tons of kid-friendly toothpaste and fluoride flavors. They even have a kid-size panoramic x-ray machine. I learned today at Dr. Rubin even does expanders for kids with Invisalign (early ortho work). They take Delta Dental Insurance and they have laughing gas available for the kids who need it.

Dr. Foster was the first one who said she'd give it a shot without general anesthesia, and my girl did GREAT. She ended up getting two crowns and one filling, and it was close to $3500 LESS than what I would have had to pay at any of the other practices.
