We looked around and read many reviews. We decided to contact Twin Cities Furnace Cleaning. They did not answer the phone right away but I received a call very quickly. I explained the situation and how we have some allergies, and they took the time to listen and go over all the details. They then recommended Steve who is the go-to guy when it comes to allergies as well as other things related. We set up an appointment with Steve, and Steve arrived early. He set up his equipment and was very mindful about making a mess as well as getting things dirty and wet. He took his time to explain as well as show me what was going on and answer all my questions. Because of allergies Steve took his time and made sure each vent was cleaned as best as possible. The things I saw in the ductwork were scary, which had built up over the years of this property. After he was done, we swapped the air filter and within 20 minutes of running, I could smell the difference in the air. The air felt lighter and did not have a heavy feel. Also, my air purifiers were not reading off the charts anymore. Steve did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend him as well as Twin Cities Furnace Cleaning. I ended up getting their Ultimate cleaning or whatever the highest one was, and compared to other places, it was cheap. The price you pay for what you get is a bargain. It ended up being $541.00 with tax and worth every penny.

BEWARE: Independent contractors are used by this company who carry their own insurance. I had an…read moreunfortunate situation where a furnace drain hose was bumped out of place by one of this company's independent contractors causing a leak in my ceiling weeks before my house was to close to a new owner. My claim was declined. The insurance company required unrealistic things like a photo of the space prior to incident showing the hose in place. Who takes pictures of their furnace? This resulted in a costly last-minute repair to my ceiling. Essentially this means that you are at the mercy of a potential crappy insurance policy carried by the contractor and that the owner takes no personal responsibility for potential damage.

Besides of the fact that they did not do good job (as our gas dryer continued shutting down after they claimed that they cleaned it), they were very rude when I called them to ask to come back and check the work. I explained to him that I have a newborn and 2 other children that I need this to be safe. It was in the middle of February he left the door open it was negative 22ﾟ outside.. He went downstairs didn't cover any of my vents before he started blowing them out. So they blew up all into all the rooms of my house. There is now an Orange dust covering everything in my home.. Later we discovered that he also left metal shavings from where he drilled into our vents. Unfortunately I spent a week cleaning those up because I kept stepping on them. I called Lavonne at their office and she told me I could either have $50 off or I could have someone come out and clean my dryer vent. So we had someone named Joe come out and clean our Dryer vent. He never took his shoes off. He also Left the door open. Again I have a newborn a three-year-old and an 8 year old. About 15 minutes later I went to ask him a question and realized he was gone he had taken all the little metal rivets that I had picked up from the floor from the 1st guy and took them with him. Later I went to put something in the dryer and realized he'd never put the vent back on my dryer. When I moved the dryer I realized that he didn't actually clean the vent as there was a pile of dust and debris sitting on my floor. When they called the Lavonne for the 2nd time my husband called and said that he wanted to speak to someone that owned the place she told us that would not be possible. She said that she was sent out her rock star. And then eventually ended up being the owner of the company Ken. He came over he was friendly, he was kind, he was engaged and he understood and he offered to pay for our services. We agreed. When I got our bill from centerpoint energy I called them because it was still on there. When I spoke to them they told me that they had never heard from the company And that they had no idea what I was talking about when I said that we weren't going to pay the bill. I do want to say that centerpoint energy did amazing. They had someone come out from another company and clean my vents.. And the new company tells me that the first company didn't actually clean anything on my vents he drilled holes he made a mess he put my children in danger and he didn't actually do his job. So so Darwin thank you for putting my family in danger. Yeah. KMS thank you for putting all of Our health in danger. Do not use this company unless you want to get screwed over.

I opted for the additional pet cleaning but he made sure to walk me through why it was necessary. The black light flashlight was a really nice touch. I had a Trane Central Air Conditioner installed today. I was told it would take 4 hours. It took 5…read more1/2 hours. I went to look at the air conditioner after 3 1/2 hours. I noticed a scratch on it, I told the installer-he ignored me and said nothing. I stood outside and watched him, I tried asking him a couple questions-he would not answer me. 2 other people arrived at my house, one walked in without knocking. The other walked around the back. I didn't know who they were. Later, I was told they were Electricians who worked for the company. They watched the installer- one of them asked if that was Refrigerant leaking out of the air conditioner, he did not respond. I said that is why I needed a new air conditioner, because of refrigerant leaking out of my air conditioner. I asked again about the scratch on the air conditioner-the installer finally answered. He said for me to call the owner. I called the company. I did not talk to the owner, I talked to the person who sets up the appointments. I also wanted a receipt of the money I was paying. He told me someone from the company would come with the Invoice. He talked to the installer and had him take a picture of the scratch on the new air conditioner. He called me back and will order a part for the new air conditioner for the scratch. I was treated terrible by the Installer and the 2 Electricians. They would not answer any of my questions and just looked at me, when I wanted to watch what they were doing. I was not instructed on the black box they installed by my furnace. I was not given any information about the Rebate or the Warranty. I was not given an Itemized copy of my bill. I don't think any Woman should use this company, because of the way I was treated by the Installer and the 2 Electricians.
