The coffee is incredible, but I don't understand why there is a massive TV that plays the menu for like 30 seconds followed by AI commercials for a coffee shop that I am already inside of ready to order from. The commercials are freaky and unsettling. So, the coffee is 5 stars, but I'd love to walk into a beach cafe and not be bombarded with weird AI commercials on a huge screen while I'm on vacation. read more

I'll start out with "I'm a Starbucks person ". Caveat is, not in Ventnor. All I've had from this coffee shop is cold brew, and it is phenomenal. Ive tried cold brew at highly rated shops in Philadelphia and New York and keep going back to Starbucks. If Starbucks opened right next door, I'd still go here. Around 10:30 a line formed out the building. For reference I got a large cold brew with mocha, and they put it in a bucket. The other drink is a small iced coffee for my wife (also good). At some point I'll try their lattes , I'm sure they are good as well. If you are looking for a good local shop gotta try Ventnor coffee! read more

Cute little coffee shop on the outskirts of AC, we stopped by here on our way out from the casinos the night before. They didn't have a menu up at the time I came, but I was able to see most of their specials here on yelp and the owner was very kind and said she could make anything I requested. I went with the Dirty Banana latte I saw online and it met expectations. The banana taste was not artificial and the coffee was strong. I would give Ventnor Coffee 5-stars, but because they randomly close in the morning and middle of the day I find it quite annoying. I've walked over there several times excited to grab a Honeybee Iced Latte just to find the place closed without a sign or reason. BUZZkill! This was a lovely coffee shop right in the middle of Ventnor. The ambiance was so cute and I loved all the decorations. The barista was very kind and helpful with suggestions. My favorite part, however, was the Taylor Swift themed drink selection. There were drinks called Lover, Lavender Haze, Cowboy, and a couple others. This really tickled my fancy! I got a lavender lemonade, the floral-citrus combo is so refreshing (and they use real lemons!). I also got a sweet, creamy iced chai latte with oat milk. I think there was too much ice but that's because I like about 1 cube in my drinks lol, I'm sure if you asked they could lighten the ice. As of right now I think they open some time from 7-9 am? They close at 6 pm most days of the week except on Saturdays, there's an open mic from 7-9 pm. There's a florist nearby, an Italian restaurant, a liquor store, and an ice cream shop. Love finding 5-star coffee houses in Jersey! This place is a true gem. Relatively modest from the outside, it's warm and quirky inside - they offer tarot readings some days. We got an iced coffee and - one of their specialties - a banana bread latte (with oat milk). The iced coffee was by far the best we'd had on our week-long trip to Cape May, and the banana bread latte was nothing less than an espresso-based miracle in a cup. Such a delight - I was crushed when my flailing baby kicked over my cup into the dog bowl under the table. They were kind enough to make me a replacement drink. Very kind, friendly staff. The Decour is nifty, local art on the walls, a bicycle a sled and a snowboard on the ceiling, and a space in the back for live music. They have a nice list of coffees and teas at affordable prices. Courtney and Bob were exceptionally happy to have some new visitors and have great personalities making you feel right at home,met Bob's wife Christine on our third visit to celebrate my 85 birthday. The location and atmosphere are perfect but unless you have a couple hours to spare to wait for your order you can't go there. Recently the line was out the door and we stood there for 45 minutes and the line did not move. We left. They need more employees especially on weekends. Also, there's no sense of urgency from the employees. I blame management. If they don't clean their act up they will go out of business when Starbucks opens. (It's worth the drive if you're downbeach in Longport.) I first went to Ventnor Coffee a few years back and did not review it because I wanted to see of they had staying power. It has it, and it's just gotten better each year. The coffee, the ambience (just go and soak in the signs and, well just go.) On a recent Sunday morning, a guy in his 60s was picking an acoustic guitar, signing Beetles songs. Very cool. The specialty tea and cold drink board was impressive this August, and my teen daughter tried to drink her way down the board, but we were only in town for 4 days. Local cafes are always great and I was really excited to find out that one decided to open up in Ventnor. I went today for the first time and had a really great latte, while my girlfriend sipped on a cold iced tea. It was really cool to see that they turned what used to be an auto-body shop into an open-air cafe. There's lots of room and plenty of tables to either sit in and drink or hang out side on Dorset Ave. You can even grab a book off their bookshelves to read while you enjoy your beverage. The cafe was promoting their Open Mic night, which is something that all good cafes should have. I'll have to update my review when I attend one. I even heard something about having an Open Mic for Comedians (that'd be super cool)! Overall, give this place a try, and support the local business! read more
